Nice fish. Drag is way too tight. !!!! Especially for crappie fishing , Wouldn’t have broken off on that first fish if the drag wasn’t so tight. Nice striper.
@justrelaxandfish10 күн бұрын
When I'm fishing in a submerged tree I keep the drag tight to prevent the fish from wrapping around the tree limbs on the initial run. I've lost too many fish because of a loose drag allowing the fish to wrap around too many limbs to untangle it from. If a large fish bites while in a tree they usually always wrap around a tree limb and break off. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Striper are good eating? Someone told me they gamey - tasting fish.
@justrelaxandfish15 күн бұрын
@@moseskongi4746 It's been my experience that stripers are good tasting fish, Having said that; there is a streak of red meat that most people remove before cooking the fish. I prefer to slice the filets into thinner strips before rolling them in corn meal and frying them.

So, I’m a critic. Loved the action. Would have loved to see more of it. Put the sun at your back and elevate your camera to above you waist or chest. Other than that enjoyed it.
