I caught my first Fire Grouper with Fishingarrett at Chub Cay Resort in the Bahamas. We were fishing in the crystal clear shallow waters with Gulp curly Tails and BlacktipH vertical jigs. It’s a yellowfin grouper, we call ‘yellowwing’. When you catch them deep they get more of that beautiful red color on them. My buddy and I call em ‘firebacks’ but good stuff man and they’re such a beautiful fish!!! 🇧🇸🇧🇸🇧🇸

I'm pretty sure the 3rd grouper species was a red hind. Hard to tell them from rock hinds but the white on the tip of the tail gives it away
