The abandoned pit is without a doubt one of the best venues I've ever fished. A crystal clear gravel pit full of weed, snags, and most importantly, incredible carp. During our short stay me and Henry caught multiple big carp, including the lakes biggest resident at 52lb.

What an incredible trip for both of you. I live in the US and can only dream of fishing lakes the likes of the ones you guys have in Europe! Maybe one day. Every fisherman here in the States should watch this video - maybe then carp fishing will take off and be held in high regard like it is in the UK and elsewhere. I’m not sure he’s a bit weird🤣 Nar it’s because the fish get stuck in weed so picking the rod up wouldn’t do much. It’s a boat job every-time.

Hey, They are BP 4,000’s, however they are discontinued. Nash do make a GT 4,000 which is an even better version but similar in size.
