I'd argue it really did change the race alot, I think it would've been an even closer divine beast at the ending. Meals didn't require cold res to pop up but meals in botw need to trigger a plate icon. Fun fact though cooking a single spicy pepper in a pot would've made the meal plate come up, because linkus realized it was a quick goal first I feel like he would've gotten it anyways but that divine beast fight would've been super super close I would've preferred to see it end with both of you fighting waterblight...race 3 needs too happen for the linkus redemption arc.

@@theoddjuan972 ​ nah linkus actually recook the meal and did it the right way (therefore spending extra time for this goal) while smallant used that time to secure two early goals himself, so it definitely didn't change much. Linkus already won when he got all the tower goals.

You got lucky cause it the board also no1 really paid attention to it before hand whoever notice it first and got to it before the other practically wins

Neither of the two want that topic to be brought up anymore. I was to surprised by what was happening too so I looked up what was going on and I suggest you do too. There was a lot of toxicity from their respective communities on their collaborations. They’ve both talked about what happened on stream and naturally there are KZfaq videos of it too so I recommend you listen to both sides of the coin.

I mean if you look at it sure having 4 of essentially the same quest lined up like that is very convenient for the person that rushes it first - But it was 3-2 to Linkus when he realised and started grinding towers, and after he got the 10th one it was 7-5 which also includes all the time Smant wasted getting to 5 towers. It’s not like he just got 4 free tiles on the board, it still took a decent chunk of time and really only ended up with a +1 advantage over what smant was doing by no means was it game breaking board luck. All it means is that there’s 3 less unique quests and more heavy priority towards grinding towers at the start, as oppose to leaving a single 8-10 tower tile til the end, and that kind of bingo RNG prioritisation shift is what makes the bingo fun imo.

@@bloodwolf2609 All you wrote is true. But I still hold my point. If the card had something like 7 and 10, it wouldn't have been that bad in my opinion. Even if someone was 1 behind, he had a chance if the other messed up, the order of the towers would have mateted more and it wouldn't have been 3 free goals back-to-back for whoever got 7 first.

Yeah they definitely should have parameters for the board so it doesn't randomly botch like this and ruin the race.

@@Hellopleesh For a game with so much going on under the surface, there really shouldn't be anything repeating on a bingo card. Also, for pros like this there should probably be extra hard stipulations, like beating a lynel with a torch or no flying to towers.
