@@djlivvy46 …don’t defame a true child of God. Most people won’t ever get to be around them bc that’s how holy they are. They aren’t interested in worldly things like the rest of us are. I’m still on my path to getting there and think we should all start trying to walk in their footsteps. The more you learn about yourself, the less you will want to be with others.

We should talk, I have been there with my husband. Sorry to hear about your recent discoveries. That was wrong of him to do to you. He probably was only seeking validation and he probably loves you. That does not make your feelings invalid or his actions acceptable.

@@TurbulentFlow thanks for reaching out. I'm struggling with whether that is just his nature and he'll do it again or if he's truly changed. His ego and validation-seeking is still a big personality trait of his. Our children are 10 and 12 and I dont want to split up my family, but the mental images and shock and nausea just don't let up.

@@skdjirrrdjdm3926 I wish I could say that it will go away soon but the mental images and nausea can take months and years to subside. Even then it will not leave completely, the feelings and memories are still there. You will continue to think of new things each day, including realizations of the past like memories that you believed but they were not the reality. This is part of who you are now. He could do it again or he won’t, he might have done much more than he admits or it could be nothing more. I am going to tell you what I wish I knew 6 years ago… The thing that is important for you is getting up, taking care of yourself, taking care of your children, stop taking care of the grown man baby who I am assuming needs to learn how to take care of himself. Leave him, go anywhere, second home, visit family, live in women’s abuse shelter, hotel, anything, make him see what it is like for you to be gone, if you are up for it you need to say you are leaving. And then leave. Don’t tell him you are planning to leave because that could be dangerous (leave a note) Do not worry about things that are replaceable. Take your children and don’t answer his calls or text for a week or more. This might be starting to sound crazy but I am not saying you can’t get back with him. People lie and say going back is what is wrong but in reality not leaving to begin with is what is wrong. If he is sane, secure, and loving he will get you back the proper way and he will grow in order to do so. He will be sorry and act sorry. Don’t accept any promises, don’t even hear them, just leave a note and say that the only hope for your relationship and family is his ACTIONS. If he doesn’t fight for you back and take the necessary steps then comes the hard part for you. Take your necessary step and walk away forever. If he won’t change in your absence he will never change in your presence. Remember you only want him if he can provide you with the secure love that was promised. Love is unconditional but requires love back to exist. I hope this made sense. I am tired and typing on my phone in bed. If he is not scared of you staying gone you don’t want him. It will require your grief and pain if he doesn’t do what you need of him. I hope he steps up for you and your 2 young children. Be strong for them and do what is best for your family and that means putting your foot down, saying enough is enough, “I am going to be loved or I am going to be alone. I no longer accept credit.” Being willing to leave is the only thing that will bring a good man back to his senses. If he doesn’t come back to his senses then you don’t need him. The only way to be willing to leave is to not need him emotionally 24/7. Take this chance to find yourself and who you want to be (whatever you have been missing or not doing) Show him you are not just his Wife. You are a Woman, your own Woman!
