What an awesome way to explain getting sometimes a needful change. I cut my own hair with clippers in the beginning of the year because I was and still am going through some stress but the cut boosted my self esteem and atleast I wasn't looking stressful. It was a needful purge

My dears, hair is hair. It depends on nutrients, maintenance, treatment and so forth to remain it's best. What we intake and the care we give our entire body affects it. Sometimes, our dissatisfaction is a reflection of what we may feel or believe we see before the mirror. Now, if this is that spiritual thing you are hinting at I am open to hear what that perspective is. Is it possible that our perspective of our hair has been shaped so much in this country by others ideas of what is beautiful. This is cut though. I wore a twa natural, pixies and all that with a relaxer when I was young. It is a style that I had to regularly trim, shape and had to lay the sides and back. It grew seemingly just as soon as my beautician cut it. $100+ per month. Not counting my mani/pedi. Girls!!! Lqwd!!

This reminds me of a time when I left a relationship 12 years ago and wanted my hair cut and my friend (a hairstylist) gave me a hard time because my hair was so long. Yes girl, im at transition and transformation stage in my life. Im definitely wanting a pixie cut. Ive had so much stress that my long hair fell out and its shorter than ive ever had in my life. Girl that’s how I was in June, I sat in the chair and said cut it, if you don’t I will. So my stylist cut it, but she was low key given me the side eye, like why did I agree to do this. But I love it now it has grown out some I want to chop again but I wear braids in the winter so I must wait until next spring. I am loving the cut and yes ma’am you cute. Tfs be blessed
