Intro to the 1976 BBC production of I Claudius, adapted from the Robert Graves novel and its sequel. It won three Emmys in 1978 and four BAFTAS in 1976.

That came a decade later, and yes the snake crawling over the Black Adder name was a spoof of the opening of "I Claudius".

Yo vi esta serie hace poco Es buenisima A pesar de su aspecto lugubre y teatral Te engancha a punta de los dialogos mas soberbios. Lo mejor:john hurt como el macabro caligula y la matriarca madre de tiberio que organiza casi todos los asesinatos en el palacio. Una autentica joya.

Creo que ese aspecto lugubre y teatral le da ese toque de atmosfera oscura, como si se tratase de una tragedia griega o shakespereana

That's how the "u" sound is written in Latin. V is pronounced as U or W
