I wouldn't imagine starting to play in s14. There's so much stuff to learn and experienced players you need to catch up on... Props to this student, he definitely got the mental it takes.

So many simple concepts low elo players need to focus on, and once they're ingrained as habits the rest of the progress will happen way easier. This session was to make sure this iron student gets the good bases to climb and doesn't keep playing with bad habits. Does he have potential? :o

Even though i am a Wild Rift LOL player (at my age I couldn't start LOL anymore, so wild rift was the way to go), I learned a lot of good staff from your coaching sessions. This knowledge doesn't exist in the Wild Rift community (there are some yasuo mains KZfaqrs that came from LOL PC, no-one is doing coaching videos or teaching how to play like a yasuo main). In general, a very few amount of players understand how to play the game, especially macro (including myself). Hope a yasuo main appears to teach us there. Keep up the nice content!

honestly, i was stuck iron 2 for ever but now that i watch your video and that i study you day and night i am finally able to reach iron 1 after 2 years of playing 12 games a day... My cs are pretty good i average 8.9 and my kda at blue but i really struggle with my level i am always 2 level down and i never get tower but now with all your coaching i finally peaked iron 1!!! I am so happy and i will keep watching your video!

For the first time in my life and I've played league for about 10 years (since the game came out I forgot how long ago it was) I've played it on and off and I am legitimately stuck in bronze I used to STEAMROLL through both bronze and silver and then struggle in gold. The game is completely different now, like supports in bronze IV roam... Everyone gets near 8-9CS per minute, people sidelane properly and tp to objectives, people freeze waves, people understand when they can play for push and when they can't contest for push. All the knowledge I had back then that used to win me games is now irrelivant because everybody knows what I know now though I personally think sodapoppin was right that everyone is a smurf like my idea of bronze is that nobody should know what they are doing like they shouldn't know what every champion does let alone how to freeze a wave because bronze - silver is where new players should end up not people who have played the game for 10 years like I don't feel like I've got worse at the game I just feel like people have "caught up"? I guess? To my skill level to now where it's a bronze standard. Edit: then again theres a lot of new mechanics I need to learn like the new herald bugs, new items, new dragons and new map design but still I feel like I should be steam rolling bronze and silver I genuinely used to legit FARM my laner but now I can't My friend also said Iron is the new bronze and emerald is the new gold so bronze players are pretty much if no one improved ARE the old gold players.

@@unlikelay no it's true the players have gotten much better since I last played. I was looking for an oracle potion and apparently it's gone now which is stupid because whats the counterplay to invis champs now?

I mean obviously you’re not gonna be good if you haven’t played in that long but hopefully I can reassure you by saying that bronze is still bronze, bronze players are still terrible and they will always be. Now, are they slightly better? Not really because they’re probably in gold by now. It in fact used to be like “new players bronze-silver” and if you were decent enough you would hit gold. It changed tho. Now even in gold I would say is where old bronze players are. I think its a mental block for you because idk where you get that bronze players know how to freeze, or get 9 cs/min. Just get back to playing and you’ll get back to what rank you deserve, rn it being bronze because you haven’t played in so long. No bronze players know how to sidelane, maybe bronze supports roam but it’s the worse roams ever, they have no idea how to play the game. One thing forsure tho is builds, they added a few years ago recommended items so ig they “can” build now but they still manage to mess it up. I don’t think the players have gotten better, you have just gotten worse, but if you get back to playing your real skill level will come back

While i wont say the players are good, i agree with you. The iron / bronze and silver even of this game feel much higher level then they should be. In ranks like these in other games typically the players in them literally dont even have hands or feet, and no idea whats going on and get completely stomped. But in this game they only make minor mistakes most the time and SOMETIMES they will do a huge blunder. I noticed the same thing in valorant to some extent. The iron / bronze players (well more like bronze, iron is pretty bad) but they know whats going on, and the fundamentals of the game but they just do alot of minor mistakes, sometimes a huge one, and of course their aim is very horrible. But in a game like league where aim doesnt matter, it seems the skill curve is much closer together. What im starting to gather is those "minor mistakes" in a game like league are the deciding factors of most games. Being a little late to fights, not reading the map properly, not counter ganking, prio'ing on camps too much, bad cs in lane, burning abilities for free, etc. Basically the margin between good and bad players is pretty damn small but the small stuff adds up over the course of 40 minute games. Idk, this game just seems a little lame. Not much skill expression except for champions like yone yasuo, irelia etc. and games are decided by the smallest things because thats just how low the skill ceiling for this game is. Its kind of like the game is playing for you, rather then you playing the game. The game just simply wont let you be good, so you got to min max the like 2 things it does let you do. This all could just be the rigged match making of riot also, but who knows.
