Fun fact: Cats don't take fall damage in minecraft, that's why you could safely transfer them by elytra. If it were any other mob they would have died.

That quote really hit me close to home, I’m currently not having the best time in life, and I use Minecraft as an escape a lot. I can't believe you didn't know about portal 1's cake is a lie! In portal 1 you are guided through the test chambers by a robot, with a reward of cake, but in the end its revealed that there is no cake (hence the cake is a lie). You then get boiled alive. also I dug straight into a stronghold while trying to find a mob with a jukebox backpack once.
