I combined every Mario Kart game (excluding the Phone and Arcade games) into one giant 33 race Grand Prix. I'll randomly pick one of the 4 main nitro cups in each game (Mushroom, Flower, Star, and Special) and then after racing through each one, every character's point value will transfer to the next game. So if Bowser ends in Mario Kart Wii with 100 points, then he'll start in Mario Kart 7 with 100 points, ya feel me?

I deeply respect the Double Dash love in this one. It was my favorite mario kart growing up, I used to play with my little brother in the back seat so i'd drive and he'd shoot items. We'd always call the big banana "Colonel Banana" and whenever we'd use him we'd say he was "Staying behind to hold them off". never forget Col. Banana's sacrifice.

Fun Fact: the positions of the cpus in Super Mario Kart are determined by the character you choose, so since you chose DK Jr for that game, Toad will always finish in 1st (or 2nd if you finish first) unless you interfere and cause them to fall behind just before finishing the final lap

5:11 Those are actually "E" letters, that probably come from the sound "screee" when the character drifts.😉

In fact, at the very start of the drift, the kart's spitting out Vs instead of Es, so it looks like "vvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" is the sound that's playing.

8:10 That item is rather entertaining with talking characters (which means everyone except Yoshi, DK or Bowser), because they start repeating the same two boost lines rapidly so that they overlap with each other.🤣🏎💥

Just did some research, and I couldn't find anything in the manual that mentions this. Unless it was in the Japanese manual, the only official references I could find were from Nintendo Power. Allegedly, there's also fanart of Koopa reporting the incident to the police that was published in the same issue, but I sadly could not find any evidence of it.

Controversial opinion I’m sure, but as someone who came here for your Kirby Nuzlockes, this is probably my favorite video of yours. The Pokémon Kirby nuzlocke is a close second. Then maybe pikmin randomized… it is hard to pick favorites beyond that because the entertainment quality is very much consistent and good

Just remember, this is only as you play as DK since playing as a different character changes your rival so the outcome would vastly differ

God, the DS levels filled me with so much nostalgia. You know how you get first everytime? You just play attention to the bottom screen. It shows you all, including fake item boxes and all other obstacles. Once you get up to first, pay attention to everyone’s inventory. Once someone gets a blueshell, backtrack to allow whoever’s in second to briefly get in first. Once they explode rip all that hope from their charred red hands

@@DonShnack It's a love-hate relationship for me but I definitely understand the hype around the OST. I think it's admirable that the devs finished the game despite development issues but it's nonetheless extremely fun to dissect everything the game does wrong. If you're ever interested, Running Shine's review is extremely funny but also provides very fair criticism.

9:43 thats because there is a hidden rivals system in mario kart where certain cous become better based on what character you pick. And they are usally the same across the games. So toad and bowser must be donkey kongs rivals (unless not idk, theres a chart somewhere you can find to fact check this, cuz im to lazy to do so myself)

In most mario karts there is actually a rival system where certain cpus will do better depending on who you pick, for example, mario and bowser are rivals in almost every game

It's worth noting that one of the main reasons Bowser probably did so good is because many Mario Kart games have a "Rival" mechanic where a specific CPU is really good, and Bowser is consistantly one of DK's main rivals. Furthermore, Toad is DK Jr.'s main rival in Super Mario Kart, but is never regular DK's rival.
