O.K. You've shown us exactly how you go about composing your music and it STILL seems like magic! Every child knows that you can make music with virtually anything and everything. For some reason, most adults get the idea that a musical instrument is something you purchase. You are the perfect combination of imagination, low tech, high tech and everything in between. This is true musical imagination, inspiration and innovation. Thank you for taking us along for the ride.

@@NicolasBras I second everything he said!! I started street performing for the first time this summer (2021) and mainly acoustic guitar/singing, but videos like this make me want to build stuff and play with live looping/recording/improvising. I consider myself a decent singer, competent strummer, but my goal always looks forward to being a better entertainer. Adding some of these type of elements would definitely push me that way. - Cheers

I must say I love this. Decades ago mainstream artists still experimented with instruments and sounds, but these days everything feels so safe and calculated. I want to see more experimentation like this! :) Also a reason why I loved the blue man group when they first started becoming popular. Out of the ordinary instruments and techniques, creating interesting and never heard before or at least not often heard sounds.

That copper pipe chromatic keyboard has such a clear and pure sound. But much mellower that the sharp attack of a glockenspiel. Is it because of the way you play it or because of the copper?

Both copper and mallet, I can play it with a metal mallet too, closer to the glock, but copper got unique overtones!
