This turned out so cute! Was an honour having you recreate one of my island areas! Also thanks for the shoutout! I actually did use all the gyroids in the game for mine but a lot of them you can’t see because of the trees. I also hid multiple music players all around the singing circle so that the music would be loud enough too! ❤

It's kind of funny because it's so hard to be original these days and have an idea that no one else has done, and to see a build on Pinterest or wherever and do that on your island, but some people get so defensive when you "copy" someone's build or aesthetic or whatever. It is important to give credit to whoever's ideas you're using, but as long as you're not hurting anyone it's really not that deep. Love your videos Liss!

Edit: before seeing other parts of the video i assumed she meant that she literally copied an island like with her modded switch, but since it's just working on her own and got inspiration from someone's island i take it back...... But what i said still stands for the leaches who steal other people's islands with a modded switch.

@@citrusbutter7718 I totally agree about the leaches who steal people's islands. I didn't hear about that until a few months ago, and I didn't even know that could happen or was possible. Makes me worried for my islands - though I'm not sure if you have to have a modded switch to have your island stolen? I want to say you don't, but either way it's so scary and just ruins the modding experience. But yeah, like you figured out she's just getting inspo I think she meant just "copying" the build not what you were originally thinking.

tbh I dont even rly see this as copying, the gyroids were basically intended to be used with music and it just makes sense to have a place to sit and listen :)

wow this is such a cute idea! i’ve been filling my island with little cicaidas hidden behind trees bc i absolutely love that late summer sound. this is a cute idea to utilize the gyro it’s bc i never knew what to do with them

love it! i recommend putting multiple music players around the build! i usually use upright speaker since there small and not obtrusive, but you could use whatever fits your style. ❤

Fall build idea: mush and pumpkin garden, i made one in an awkward medium sized space between some other builds. Im planning to make it a seasonal garden and make it into a star farm for summer and maybe it could also work for winter if i use white and blue stars

Have you thought of experimenting with trees at different growth stages? You can stop any tree growth by planting an orchard fruit within the 8 squares surrounding it. Excited to see what you do with the fall season!!

liss always updates her island for the season, so now we're getting Tiny Town^2 the Fall Edition! modded videos are also harder to make, so with her moving this month and having to pre-record a bunch of videos modded builds just weren't in the picture! we'll probably see more of them in the future or on stream :) just depends on which island she's working on

Liss I suggest making your transparent tile a shade of green instead of red!! 💚You can still clearly see it but it’s not as distracting visually when you’re trying to decorate

This is such a cute idea!! One of my fave areas on my island is similar and I also got the idea from a dream island, it's a gyroid dance party area with LED light fixtures, instruments and stuff. My main music source is a high end stereo but I also have a tape deck cuz the music doesn't travel very far. Also every time you call them "'roids" my brain thinks of hemorrhoids lolol

For my island, I'm planning on changing my cow fields to a carnival! It reminds me of my local town's carnival that comes around sometimes that's super dodgy and set up on a field haha. My island is rural japanese with traditional elements (my fav theme) and its seasonal too! I'm mostly focused on finishing the island before doing big seasonal changes though. However, because I'm a New Zealander (southern hemisphere) and my island is based on Japan (northern hemisphere) its all a bit of out sync, but it's fun!

Hey Liss! I was thinking that after the video you could time travel to brown fall and fix up some things if it doesn't look right, then when you make a video you could go back to regular time so that it will still follow with the days. But idk if this is a no time travel challenge or if you're not gonna spoil it for yourself until the actual maple season, so its just a thought! Love your vids!

make a custom design, and make sure it's all transparent on the tile. save it, and then it's ready to use. you can place the design on the floor.

I saw on Pinterest of someone making an area for cooking, building and dropping items and I made that area on my island. Also someone made a gyroid garden/Park and I kinda took that idea and made a gyroids adoption site. Not like anyone come to my island to adopt them 😅

tbh i normally just have a small circle or dot on the transparent tile so i can see that they’re there but it’s still easy enough to know what the build will look like normally !! also have you/are you gonna redo this for your valentines island ?? meow
