Being from CA, I was driving at night & had NO CLUE tornadoes happen at night. (I know, stupid! Lol) So, I'm driving and can see the lightning highlighting the sky, & it looks like a huge black wedge straight ahead, that never gets light. I thought, is that a tornadoe? Why isn't anybody on the highway? I got to a gas station, a huge storm hit right then with hail. I looked up the weather, & sure enough, there was a tornadoe, right where I was heading! I posted up for a couple hours, & then it was fine. Taught me a valuable lesson! Wow!

I moved to Arizona from Ohio, never looked back. Every area has its own devastation. sorry for everyone there. So scary, I remember these storms.

I prefer vertical myself so you can get the whole length of the tornado And as much of the upward clouds/sky as possible
