In defense of all Jack assets: just today, I hsd the most recent of my parking issues, when I went to work and the landscaping van was occupying the handicapped parking space. After I shook my handicap permit in his face - he still refused to leave. I may not have been totally gracious about it. After something like that happens a few dozen times, tempers get short.

Do you really think Jennifer is that perfect ? She was a awful mother to her oldest daughter Ruby. Ruby did e everything and was always trying to please her mother and was frightened of her to the point of developing a twitch in her face . It immediately disaperaed when she left home at 19 and married. Those kids did everything .

You know, yes he was rude and surly however he does not need to be able to bully anyone! I despise the actions of bully’s. I knew one as a child and he bullied in the third grade. He became such a despised adult he had no friends and I, and others, literally shunned him. That is a direct result of bad parenting. He needed to have discipline in the third grade instead he became an unbearable jack-ass for his entire life.

@@snoopybluejeans My stove top is electric. The oven is completely separate. Do you happen to know whether in Canada many households have the type that switches off? I assume all new builds are fitted with such a stove/cooker by default.

Wow!!! You did have some kind of day, Bless your heart!!! I want to know why the guy was so mean? You said it was a Day Care center, so what!!! Was he dropping a child off and have to walk farther? Did he work there? What did it actually do to him, that you parked there??? It sounds like he thought he had a reason to be so horrible to you, so what exactly do he think you did to him??? I just have no time for rude people!!! As far as the lot on the stove, first of all, I’m so glad that everyone is okay including the house. I did something similar the night before Thanksgiving. First off, I need double knee replacement, so doing the extra cooking I was doing not only causes me unbearable pain, it wears me out quickly also. Plus, I hAve been fighting a very serious pneumonia since early September. So, by Wednesday night, I was worn out. I had made a corn casserole and put it in the oven and sat my timer for 30:00 minutes, then I mixed up a glaze I make for the outside of our Ham, and I always heat it up to melt the brown sugar, and marry the flavors. I needed to sit so bad, that I walked to my recliner and sat down. Next thing I know, I’m coughing myself awake, it’s 3:30 in the morning, it was my timer going off, and my house was as Smokey as yours!!! The glade was burnt to a good stainless pan like yours, and my corn casserole was black and on the verge of bursting into flames!! The only thing we can think of, is when I went to set the timer, it’s digital and very touchy, so instead of 30 minutes, I really set it for 3:hours!!!! And for me to fall asleep, with a glaze heating on the stove??? I was so upset!!!! But everyone makes mistakes!!! I’m just so grateful we are okay, and still have a house also!!! I’m 58... it happens to the best of us! If you could tell me how to get all the black stuff out of the expensive sauce pan that had the glaze! I’ve soaked mine and scrubbed, used a nylon scraper, still have some black stuff. I would love some suggestions!
