This scene and the end scene with the march of the real Schindler Jews just broke me when I watched this in the cinema. It was the realization that it was not a movie, it was a documentary. I couldnt watch it for about 10 years after I first saw it.

Even in the darkest times there are people like Oskar Schindler that can be small lights. That Man was a real Hero that saved so many lives from dead. He should never be forgotten.

Oskar Schindler may have been a member of the nazi party but he was not a nazi. A good hearted man who saved countless lives

There was also Chiune Sugihara a Japanese diplomat that saved 6000 Jews by issuing visas despite the Japanese government telling him not to. And the Hungarian diplomat Raoul Wallenberg who is believed to have saved 100,000 Jewish people by buying up property and saying it was for diplomatic purposes only to instead smuggle people out of the country. Many people risked their lives to defy the Nazis in that era and all deserved to be remembered

This is the scene that always makes me cry. The way Stern shakes his head at Schindler, like he’s saying, “Don’t think that way. It’s immaterial whether you could have saved more people. You saved all of us and that’s all that matters.”

I watched this movie and was so affected by it that I sympathized with the Jews.. But the same story is being repeated now with the Palestinians, as they felt betrayed and were destroyed, but who is the actor now this time?!! They are the Jews...so be careful not to oppress a people who may turn into monsters in the future, taking revenge for their past... We pray that the Palestinians will be safe and that this series of destruction and killing will stop at this point
