Worth noting that LDAC is often inferior to AptX HD is there a lot of radio signal interference in the area due to its variable bandwidth nature. Small antennas like those in Earbuds are super sensitive.

@@darsparx Tbh, I'm not really fond of Shortcircuit. They're small semi-reviews, but because they have to be short and entertaining, and they have to be unboxings, they won't have properly researched the product properly. This essentially makes it so they skip over important features, that might make or break a product, or otherwise misinform the viewer. It should either be an unboxing, with "oh cool, here's what's included" or it should be an actual review. Not this middle ground thing they're doing.

Yep. Had to pass a lot of otherwise great wireless headphones because they had no other means to connect beside wireless. And when battery dies it's a big chance that they are going into the garbage since there is a very low chance of finding a *new* replacement battery for such a non-mass market item after a couple of years.

I bought a pair of Soundcore Life Q30s, and they were excellent. So when my wife wanted a pair of decent ANC headphones, I got her a pair too. Then I needed a pair of headphones for work, so I got a pair of Life Q35s. They’re even better. We have also bought a pair of Flare 2s and… you guessed it… awesome. I havn't had any of the soundcore headphone line up however the corresponding application for the headphones, iv'e heard, makes the sound quality a lot better by fine tuning each level of sound based on what music you are listening to. Although they may not sound great, they have a lot of potential to be good through the app and this video did not display this which could turn some people away from the q45.

I LOVE Soundcore earbuds. I've had three different pairs now (because I keep clogging them and can't clean them effectively), of different models, and will buy another pair after my current pair is no longer cleanable. Even though Raycon keeps advertising their "half price of equivalent name brand earbuds," Soundcore is somehow cheaper, and still really good quality. My first set lasted about 2 years, my second set about 9 months, and as I said, I am still on my third set. I don't use them as much as my previous sets, but they seem to be on par with my first set clog-wise. Idk why anybody would get a different brand earbud, especially the ones from other big tech companies. $20-60US gets you near studio level sound in a durable, long battery-life design.

I have the Life Q35's, the Liberty 2, and 3 Pro's. The app is what really takes these lower price ear buds and headphones to the next level. Personally I think it was a mistake for Soundcore to try and market these to compete with the Bose, Sony, or Apple higher end headphones. Soundcore should've marketed these to put themselves at the top of the $100-$200 price point for earbuds and headphones, which in my opinion, they are definitely in the top 5.

All the Anker headphones have removable earpads. They are mounted with clips and can by easly pried out using a butter knife or a plastic pry. Replacements cost between 10 USD and 20 usd

Soundcore makes the best sounding earbuds I never want to use because they either want to fall out of your ears constantly or you gotta shove the so deep it makes your ear feel raw. LG Tone Free P9's all day.

A bit late to the party, but received a pair of the Q40s for Christmas. Discovered that the audio improved *greatly* after the update, and getting the HearID equalization set up. It's still not as open as I'd like, but there was a stark, enjoyable difference. As pointed out by another commenter, the app and the EQ really made the difference.

My cheap Edifier have 55 hours of listening and has AptX so I can use it in gaming (single player) at least. Cups are replaceable too. The only problem is it's on-ear. Any recommendations of comparable that is over-ear?

Crinacle is the only one I trust with any type of audio device recommendations, he goes down to the smallest detail and is honest. While people like this just say yea that is good and I recommend (like people saying raycon is good while they are just pure garbage)
@1floony
@1floony 2 жыл бұрын
But you do have to keep in mind that we watch crin for his audiophile take. This is aimed at a more general consumer. Techtuber are never the place to go if sound quality is your priority. MKBHD said the xm4 were the best on the market when they sound pretty bad compared to even low end audiophile devices at 1/4 of the price. Also I will say most the people shilling for raycon are cos they are sponsored and might not actually like the device so can’t hold it against them.

@@1floony Yea you are 100% right, but I do want a good quality over just a name brand. I got the Moondrop Chu recently and honestly for 20$ those are amazing and can put raycons to ground. But yea it is mostly that people have different preferences and audiophiles usually don't like bass in their headphones and most of them have it tuned up.

It bothers me how they didn't use the app to customize the EQ or Noise cancellation settings. The app alone can make the headphones 10 times better, especially so when you can customize it to your liking. Come on, guys...

Shoulda played with the app, the eq adjustments pretty good on the soundcore devices. I am a audio guy and like my massive cans, but when it comes to Bluetooth audio, the sound often falls 3rd or forth on the list of things I want. Battery and portability are the first things I am looking for and soundcore delivers the best in the market. Using the Q35's on my daily commute I can easily get a week or two of audio before needing to charge again. The XM4's just dont have the battery life for me to make them worth it.

*Ohh they gone back to the q30 style. I hope the build quality is better but i doubt it though. The failure points of q30's ware the plastic parts on the headband specifically under the adjusting mechanism. My q30's have a good amount of electrical tape on them now* 😂😂

I LOVE ANKER SOUNDCORE! I have the the life P3 and the Q30 and some $30 pair that i got on amazon which is how i found them. I had an issue with my first set of p3 after about 9 months, but since it had a 18 month warranty I emailed them, sent the invoice from amazon, and i had a new pair in 2 days! They sound better than the air pod pros to me. I love the bass they provide. The noise cancelling is good, the only thing that apple does better is transparency mode. I tell everyone to get soundcore. You will not be disappointed, and their app and widget are awesome on iphone.

The smaller cone in the middle of a larger speaker cone is called a whizzer cone. It’s commonly found in cheaper factory car speakers because they’re a budget friendly way of helping the high frequencies without a dedicated tweeter. Higher trim levels usually forgo them for a separate woofer and tweeter for better sound stage and much better highs and dedicated midbass coming from their respective drivers

Own a pair of Q30's and I must say I am very disappointed. They lose connection randomly quite often, fit very loosely on the head and I think the the ANC is very poor on them, actually to a degree where I dont use it anymore. But I suspect I just had too high expectations and I dont know if Sony or Bose would have met my expectations either.

I got the Q45's about a week ago, I am by no means a headphone expert. I wanted over the ear, comfort, long battery. I got that and way more, a lot better than the rest I saw in that price range. Best buy had all of them out in stock (amazingly enough) and I stick by my decision. Happy coincidence I got a call using them and it's the clearest call I've had using anything Bluetooth.

The old Soundcore earbuds with ear hooks have an extra benefit that the electrodes are not in contact with the skin. Many of my bluetooth earbuds have charging problems after a while because of the corrosive effect of sweat. However, the Soundcore buds avoid all the problem by moving the electrode away.

I've had the Soundcore Liberty Pro 2s for a long time now and I really like them, zero issues and great sound. I really wish they wouldn't do the "We're as good as the leaders but half the price" thing because that's what Raycon do and they are just trash, would be a shame if they were thought of worse for that association.

Where's the Frequency Response tester at? I swear I saw in another video that you guys just got one in. Would love to start seeing some actual hard data to go along with audio product reviews, especially seeing as audio quality is super subjective when it comes to both the listener and genre of music. Not trying to be negative in any way! Just a suggestion from a long time fan on something they'd love to see. So many reviews for audio products on YT and its all biased poop; and usually horribly produced songs for testing I might add. (No offense on crab rave..). Be the change, stand out from the rest like you usually do for other hardware reviews!

I have a pair of soundcore products, a headphone for home and earbuds for office/outside and the EQ in the soundcore app helps the sound quality a lot, specially since I tune them for voice clarity for podcasts. The headset in the brazilian summer can get uncomfortably warm, but that is when the rest of the room is already uncomfortably warm. For those ocasions I will use the earbuds on my home desktop
