FYI, the Guittig water is from Tesalia Springs Company in Machachi, near Latacunga, south of Quito. There is a bottling plant there with natural springs of carbonated water. They Also they bottle various fruit flavored soda. Also on the grounds are two swimming pools filled with this spring water and are open to the public. Very cold but refreshing to swim in. A great place to check out. The Gangotena family were related to Camilo Ponce, who was a former president of Ecuador.

Hi Ayngelina , I'm so glad that you are back in Ecuador , and first of all I want to thank you for enjoying and loving your experience in the country that saw me grew up till I left but it is amazing that it takes someone else to show you what Ecuador is really about and enjoy the culture and the food and all that comes with it , as I see other videos from bloggers that show Ecuador and see how people are loosing they're culture and forgetting where they grow up and they're home , starting with vocabulary and other things that I have seen , but thank you for remind us what ecuador and the culture its all about . There is another Ecuadorian blogger that I also follow, Damian , like his content also. Have fun , enjoy the gastronomy and all that Ecuador has to offer 😉
@ayngelina2 жыл бұрын
I think the idea of losing culture is happening everywhere. Although certainly I think Ecuador is unique with its migration. For me I do think it's special finding things like chicha de jora just because it's so difficult to make people don't have the time anymore.
@puttytat0072 жыл бұрын
@MM CN, OMG, I so agree with you. I was brought up in the US but in the Ecuadorian way and traditions. Smal example, my father said, never say Spanish we speak Castellano. Used to be taught but they say Spanish now. Spain has about 17 languages. Castellano is one of them.

@Ayrgelina, thank you, Cacao was cultivated 1,500 years plus before it was used in what is now Mexico. Also the drink the Aztecs upper class drank is from Ecuador with the difference that everyone drank it. Many of our cultural traditions, products have been credited to other culture's and it's refreshing to see someone not from my country to be knowledgeable in the truth. Hollywood has also had a part of changing the truth, example, the Poncho. Who gets credit for it.... yes exactly. As one very intelligent person put it on the internet, we aren't brother's, we're neighbors! God bless you and keep you safe. 🙏💜🤫💜🙏

@ayngelina2 жыл бұрын
I'm actually going to do a drinks video soon. I just have a few more I need to find. But chicha de jora is a lost art so if you see it, get it. It takes a long time to make and many people don't want to put in the effort anymore.
