That's literally a joke in most of his videos, aim is only part of the game but it just looks easier when most are just watching, or in his victims' cases, being shot at. Also farming doesn't take long and not difficult at all. Maybe farming division tech, but otherwise, no. Making builds isn't even that hard because all of the sets tell you exactly what to build for, unless you're messing with hexotic and hybrids. I should also add that NPC's AI have a set way of coming at you, so it's weird to practice aim on AI, if you want to play pvp. At least that's how I see it

(In his Striker build vid, he literally says he aims center mass instead of trying to headshot because his aim isn't great...so, that joke flies past me.) Classified sets are a definite necessity for being competitive in the DZ. I'm only 219 hours in and played 3 global events, but assembled 1 full Classified Deadeye set, a 5 piece Nomad and 5 piece D3 (but have all full 280+ GS gear sets). None of those are even optimized, so yeah there's also the extra time in farming Division Tech to optimize your gear (but doing dailies gets you a quick 75 within ~20min). If I'm lucky I'll run through the 15 LZ named bosses (in around an hour) and get 1 classified drop and 1 exotic (or 1 in 10 runs another classified instead of exotic). Usually those classified drops are pieces I already have. Best luck getting specific classifieds pieces are global events, but those usually run on weekends or holidays for only a few days and you have to commit multiple hours to get GE credits. If I remember right, the chances of getting a random classified piece from a named boss is something like a 2-5% drop rate now and Massive turned down respawns to like once every 4 hours. Even during Global Events with GE caches, classified drops from named bosses/hunters or buying a classified cache from the weapons vendor with Phoenix Credits, there's an extremely low probability of actually getting a new classified piece you actually need/want to complete a full set. I mean, it's so difficult to assemble a full classified set that the recent Prime Shield Challenge is to assemble 3 full sets. For reference, I hit level 30 around 60-70 hours in with all main and side missions completed...the rest of my 150+ hours are all farming. No, farming isn't hard...but, it gets really boring running through the same missions or DZ landmarks/contamination/supply drops over and over and over just to get a classified or exotic you already have. That's a main reason I see people saying they stopped playing this game. ...for myself (and I think most people), investing anything more than a few hours per week into a game is a serious commitment. As far as build creation, check out MrD4iGO. He runs through solo legendary/heroic with every build, using optimizations/talents in unique ways (yes...he even completes the incursions top Div streamers said are impossible solo). Most people write off all but a few classified sets, so it's interesting to see someone that can use EVERY set solo. Basic NPCs are usually fairly stationary, but elites, named, first wave agents, and hunters aren't. (Especially the latter WILL chase you and can one hit kill you.) Running through solo from 0 to lvl 30 Tier 5 legendary with only a sniper rifle gives you perfect aim because you have a low rate of fire and have to headshot or you get overrun. NPCs will flank and outnumber you once you fire your first shot and, when solo, NPCs have perfect aim with tons of grenade spam. Also, with the running enemies (especially the shotgun LMB with shock grenades), you literally only have one shot to headshot them before they overrun you using only a bolt action rifle. It's actually a nice progression where the lower level NPCs are good practice for the harder levels and when you get better gear you can do the missions solo on Hard, Challenging and then Legendary/Heroic.
