Any tips for someone who is trying to learn how to make games?

Best advice i would give you is just start your first game project it shouldn’t be 1-2 years long plan instead it can be 1 week game dev plan and challenge yourself to complete small game in shorter time spans with each new project …. i can grantee you in 2-3 mont you will have 4-5 decent game in your portfolio and enough experience in your hand to do client work as well as your own major project
