Those who don't know the Nobita character was inspired from a real life boy who had a disease and used to think about someone that has a pocket of gadgets while other people would not accept his thoughts . He was sent to a mental hospital but nothing changed and after getting frustrated that no one believes him so he suicides but he had wrote all what he had seen and dreamt in a book.

The original creator of the Doraemon manga and anime series Fujiko F Fujio never made an episode like that infact there is no last episode of Doraemon because Doraemon episodes are not connected to each other. It does not have a straight storyline, every episode is individual and independent.
