@@ada6044- Find a stylist you like and be consistent with staying with that particular hairstylist. It’s important to go to someone consistently, so they can learn what you like, don’t like, possible cowlicks and problem areas, etc. If you just randomly choose a different stylist each and every time - you have no one to blame, other than yourself, for your consistent unhappiness. HOWEVER. That is not to say you it’s okay to leave with a bad haircut. Though, there is quite a difference between a bad haircut - and a haircut someone, simply, doesn’t like. And, simply, because One doesn’t like a haircut a stylist may give them - doesn’t imply the stylist did a bad job, with the haircut, itself. So, it’s important to consider the difference - and if it’s worth giving the stylist another shot, while being honest and open about the dislikes of their previous work, to them. I will admit, however.. As a former cosmetologist (still a Cosmo, just disabled) - I tend to like my haircuts much better, when I do ‘em myself; and am rarely 100% happy, when someone else does it. At least, if I mess it up - I ain’t out the money, also, and it’s easy for me to take responsibility for my new ups, than to be upset at someone else and feel powerless.

I do usually get good haircuts, but it's just not what I wanted so who cares if it's good or not. Once I got a good haircut and I went back to her and reminded her what we did last time and she did it completely different and not good. The 3rd time it was so horrible. I looked like a 1950s housewife I was like WTF? And I live in NYC so haircuts are too expensive to keep getting burned. I gave up. I've been cutting it myself for a long time now. I do small haircuts so I can fix it little by little lol and boyfriend will also fix it up for me. Eventually I get it where I want it. 😊
