I'm not sure why this video made me so emotional however I am so thankful for influencer's like yourself who are transparent. There are so many women who are dealing with the same issue and who are embarrassed to speak about it or have no knowledge on how to move forward. Just seeing your support and your confidence is beautiful. I mentioned to you before that I cut off my locs and it was very "freeing" but also my hair was thinning and I wasn't confident enough to wear my locs out anymore. I will be going to get me some topic this week! All I want is to wear a simple ponytail again. Again thank you for sharing your journey with us.

People be so quick to judge women and men for wearing wigs but there are people that have medical conditions. For black women our hair is a valuable part of us... if you know you know. Hours at the hairdresser as a child or in yo mamas kitchen then all the styles we adorn like crowns . I had thick strong hair until iron deficiency anemia made my hair thin. I share your feelings and I love that you are embracing your natural hair journey thank you for your transparency.

I’m so proud of you Kie! When I was first diagnosed with alopecia, I TRIED EVERYTHING! My loss has always been on the parietal bones (just above the ears) and around the hair line. I just gave up, my husband prayed over me, and WE chopped IT. When my late husband helped me with my first chop, I cried so hard. You’re right when u say our hair is our crown. It was the hardest thing I had to do. Now, I just keep it bald and rock wigs. I do miss having my long hair, but GOD created wigs, so I make do. Thank God for men like Kenny! It’s easier when you have a supportive spouse. God bless you both🙂

Hi Kai....like you i have PCOS hair loss too and I did a big chop two weeks ago. I have low precocity as well. I am in between products at this time but all I can say is stay away from product that have sulfur and alcohol in them they are killers to my hair. I live in Jamaica and I have a coworker who makes deep conditioner and that is what has been saving me to retain some amount of moisture. My hair was making me sad and it still is especially when i know what my hair was and what it is now. Some days i feel ugly but I am learning to cope with this new reality. I have learnt that with PCOS we also suffer with mal absorption so the minerals and vitamins that we need for hair skin and nail growth we may not be getting all of it from our foods. I liked this video you rocked it. All the best I will keep watching.

As long as you leave it in it's natural state with absolutely NO tension, massage your scalp with Castor oil and Biotin oil, plus Vitamin D and your follicles will heal. Don't ever let your hair be dry (Indian Hemp, Castor oil and Blue Magic did the trick for me). DO NOT braid your and do not apply product because it will clog the pores on the scalp. You look absolutely stunning with your natural hair. Embrace it and it will grow. Speaking from experience.

On a serious note, I have watched this video ten times since you posted it. Your words are helping me to accept my “now” hair and stop grieving and searching for my hair that I will probably never have again. It is a different journey (to me) when your hair loss is the middle of your head, and so many don’t understand. But you Ms. Ma’am get it. I’m not to the acceptance stage that you are, but I do believe I can get there and be okay. Thank you social media BFF.

I see Britney cut hers too and is wearing hers out. I've been battling thinning and hair loss. Mine came out really bad in the top and it was devastating. I really don't know what cause it. I'm guessing perimenopause???...because I was going through so many other changes due to this. I've cut mine off and started over several times and now it seems to be doing better...fingers crossed it will stay that way.

Hi girlie! I really loved your video and I share the same/similar journey. I have not worn my natural hair out period since 2008! When I had Locs. I’ve always said that we should have a 2 week retreat somewhere, where women can bodily, safely, and confidently try products and also just wear their hair out or try new styles. It would be educational and we could have seminars, hands on workshops to really learn about our actual hair. I know that sounds corny, but I think it would hold a lot of value. ❤ Thank you for doing this!

As someone with PCOS and thin/bald spots I too chopped my hairs off and seeing this video made me tear up because its a process. Thank you for showing your journey and for being transparent, sending you all the love 💕 greenbeauty's products have been a great help for my hairs, she has tea tree oil, a protein treatment and a herbal hot oil treatment, also if you check out her page she has a onion juice recipe for the hairs

Hey KieRashon, I'm so proud of you for continuing to work on your hairloss. I started out losing my hair and now I only have what I call the Bozo look so I always wear wigs cuz I'm almost completely bald. So I'm glad to see yours feeling in some.

Yay! Your hubby is so supportive. I'm excited now that you are doing natural videos. Your hair looks awesome! I think you should dye it with a few golden highlights or possibly burgundy and cut the back and sides a bit after it grows in more. You may have to experiment with products to see what your hair likes. It turned out so good.

Thanks for sharing. I'm 35 with low porosity and have experienced issues in my crown area. Not a product to recommend but a method. What helps for me is every other day or so I get a soft white baby towel and run it under really cold water and after massage my crown area with it. It cleanse the scalp while stimulating it. After I look at the towel to see how dirty my scalp is and it's gross but yet pleasurable 😅. Anywho. That fiber spray really blended in well. Again, thanks for sharing 🙏🏽

Kie I know you will probably say girl I don't know you but I want to say I love you. You are so freaking real 💯. You are beautiful with hair, no hair, wigs. You shine. I am going through hair issues myself thin, balding in front etc. I am ready to take a razor to it. Stay blessed.❤❤❤

Kie, what you said really resonated with me. I have also been debating on the big chop because I have thinning hair on top. You look so cute. I will definitely be here to support you through your hair and weight loss journey. Thank you for sharing this and a shout out to your husband. He’s fantastic.

Kie, I know exactly what you are going through as I was diagnosed with pcos back in the early 2000's and now I have to do the comb over on top. But I make it work. But you look absolutely beautiful with that cut!! And thank you for being so vulnerable about your hair, as it is our crown. May God bless you and your family!

Thank you for this. I have Central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA). I had locs for 14 years before I cut them 2 years ago and wore protective styles. Then this year I started wearing wigs once I no longer had enough hair for the protective styles. I have this very strong urge to go ahead and shave it down. You look beautiful.

I have cut my hair aswell and came up with wash day and hair care routine. I've seen a difference but I can't wait for the day that I too can have the confidence to wear my natural hair out. Great video Kie❤

Kie. I'M A PROUD WIG BAE. I plan to get some of your merch soon. I love everything about this. You made a great decision, your love with Kenny is so beautiful, and I think a finger wave style would look really cute and could also camouflage some of the thinning. I recommend the max hydration method, regular protein treatments, Melanin Hair care, TGIN, some Shea Moisture, Aphogee, Mielle. Any brands with clean ingredients but it does take time and trial to see what works and all are unique. Vitamins, sleep, diet, exercise also helped my hair grow and ultimately consistent care is key from the root to end s. Almost forgot Lashay Greenwood Mane Attraction products are the truth!

Hello Kie! I deal with the same issue with my hair, and two weeks ago I cut mine in a twa and have been wearing it out. I’m trying to keep what I have as healthy as possible for as long as I can. I have started using Design essentials shampoo, design essentials rosemary mint deep conditioner. Kinky curly leave in, then on top Camille rose curl maker. I haven’t been using this combination very long so idk about long term results, but for now, my hair loves it. My previously coarse, super dry hair now has some definition and curls that I have not seen in years. Best wishes with your journey. ❤
