AND INSTANTLY REGRETTED IT
Hey guys! So the other day I cut my hair myself...at home. I regretted cutting it but am really trying to just deal with it. It'd be great if you guys gave me some feedback on how to style it/how to fix it. Ahhhh...just watch until the end. I actually ended up styling it myself and I think it looks/looked O-K but not amazing. Idk. Will I do this again? Probably not! Lol. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed the video. :)

The layers actually look great, maybe just get the layers evened out and add more voluminous layers to the back as well

Girl I think it’s actually not that bad, maybe for the short layers in the front you could soft curl them it would look much better

Parting it on the side actually looks really good. You just need to train your hair to lay that way since you’ve been wearing it mostly in the middle. If possible, curl the shortest layers back and use a light hair spray to keep them from coming towards the front too much. I think it looks great but if you’re still unsure if it’s crooked, just go to your stylist and get a little touch up.

The weird thing is that I actually wear my hair to the side everyday. The only time I wear it in the middle is if I'm filming or going out to a restaurant or something. I think I'll just stick with wearing it in the middle from now on!

"What did I do?!" I can tell you. You put a pony tail at the very top of your head. You then cut it just below chin length. This made the hair at the very top of your head chin length. It was pretty obvious that you were gonna end up with short layers 😬

The ideal location for the hair tie is in the middle of your head. Just in front of the crown area. You'll get a more even cut and it works as a middle or side parted style. I cut my to shoulder length.

Oh honey ive seen so many vids and knew your hair was gonna be short. It’s okay though i cut a fringe had it for a month. Now i dont want it but its fine. HAIR GROWS 💇🏻‍♀️💋

it’s short at the front because you over direct your hair when you pull the hair from the back to front into a ponytail. when you have layers your ponytail will be straight and if your hair is in a V shape in a ponytail it’s because your hair is cut straight, if your hair was in a V at the start you should have kept it in a V.

When you put your hair in a pony tail and cut it, you will naturally have some very short layers. My suggestions----either cut some off the entire length of your hair (not placing your hair on the top of your hair) but do a blunt cut OR try curling your hair. It will make the short layers much less severe and less noticeable.

I cut my hair front ponytail style to get v shape. I know people dont like v shape but i love it. Love lots layers. Well i have thick hair so it thins my hair out for me. I cant cut my hair like how u did. I take that one ponytail and divide it in 4. Then cut straight across and point cut after. I love love love the layers i get and everyone asks who cuts my hair. So yea.....next time if u want to trim bottom without layers..do this. Make a center path dividing hair in 2 and bring it to the front. Trim the bottom. You will get more of a u shape. ...not a deep v

I’ve actually just cut the ends by gripping the entire shaft and gliding it between my 2 fingers to cut the ends that popped out.

You should get a V cut layers if you want your hair not to be straight all the time I think it looks cute but girl it is completely up to you!!

Thank you! I totally agree, the only thing is that I don't want to use heat on my hair every time after washing it. I aired dried my hair last night and this morning it's looking good, so I think I'm safe 😂.

ooh girl I just cut like two inches off and I cried for an hour straight I honestly hate it it feels short but looks long I have no clue and my hair takes a while to grow back😔

@@AudreyVictoria sorry Audrey....hair grows quick. Layers are the best. Long hair that is one length look grandma like...old fashioned. Boring no movement. I am indian and too long hair one length in my opinion is weired looking. Go get more layers done.
