Today we take a look at Kingspan Klargester, College Rd N, Aston Clinton, Aylesbury HP22 5EW.
We speak to many people including the lads in the business opposite who saw the green bottoms and came over for a keyring.
We learn a little about how the product is made and only 1 person tells us we need permission.
The manager comes out and redeems the situation and tells us even more.

Not sure if you saw or watch random outings but he recently decided to quit... My guess is the last company he visited (which acted a fool and called him all kinds of names tried to steal his equipment) Was the final straw. Perhaps you and PJ can visit this (Awful) company which believes people who take photographs are "thieves" and "perverts" and show them just how wrong they are... If not no worries, but I'm gonna find a way to get there and record for Chris packet!

I just wanted to say well done on brushing past the "past incident" with the company and not trying to dwell on it or make a connection that wasn't really there with the current arm of the business. These guys will now be a little more at ease with visitors hopefully ow you've been there.

I have worked around Klargester products for many years. The basic 'Cesspit' is just a holding tank and needs emptying when full. A 'Septic Tank' is a simple settlement tank, sewage flows in, solids settle out, and clarified water is taken from the top and goes into a drainage field to soak into the land. The Environment Agency now insist on better standards of treatment for sewage, so you're now looking at a 'Packaged Treatment Plant' e.g. a 'Biodisc' or a 'Biotec'. The Biodisc uses the rotating discs to break down the sewage, the Biotec uses an air blower to bubble air through the sewage to achieve the same result. The solid matter settles out as sludge and needs pumping out on occasions, the clarified effluent can be discharged to land or a watercourse. Bacteria build as the waste matter breaks down, when you empty a septic tank, you always leave a small amount of product in the bottom to kick start the bacteria build up as the unit refills. The 'Interceptor' tanks for Petrol Stations, are fitted on the drainage systems to collect any spilt fuel that washes off the forecourt, stopping it from leaving the site and getting into the sewers or watercourses. Again, these have to be emptied periodically to remove the build up of waste fuel. GRP is 'Glass Reinforced Plastic', aka Fibreglass.

My company own a number of petrol stations and it’s good to know kingspan produce a product for spillages be it by refuelling or a tanker delivery. Very refreshing that there employees know there products and have a sensible manager .

I always love seeing you hand out more keyrings than you should... it really proves we are nothing to worry about. And it's like a collectible. You should makes special ones for new areas we check out! (Ps not companies but the areas, maybe stick a local landmark on it)

Glass reinforced plastics (GRP) are a composite material combining plastic with glass fibres. The different properties of glass and plastic produce a more robust, reinforced material suited for many more uses. Great vid as always DJ, very informative, I keep tropical fish and I think that the filter that lives underneath utalises a very similar function, changing toxic ammonia into nitrites and then into harmless nitrates by the use of aerobic & anaerobic bacteria, very interesting.

Having lived on the farms for many years and having septic tanks. They need emptied periodically and the best thing to do to quickly restart the bacteria to get rid of solid waste is once emptied throw a couple of dead rabbits in. This boosts the bacteria no end as they degrade and gives a great start rather than have it clog up and empty it 2 months later. Strange but true.

Great interactions and genuinely fascinating video. I never knew that modern septic tanks had the ability to purify the water. I always assumed that they had to be emptied by a tanker as soon as they were full. I’ve definitely learned something today 👍🏼😊

Wow Here in the states we drain the sewage into the tank. The tank has two parts. The liquid then flows into a leach field and makes nice green slips in the lawn. Some are gravity only and others are pumped. Sometime to the tank and others from the tank to the leach field (or both).

Great video, and thanks. Company staff probably learn more from your interaction with them than from any internal training. It's great that not only do the normal staff know about you and your channel, but they actually know what their company is doing and about the processes involved; From the manager, production and the drivers. If I was going to invest money in a company I would not only look at their website but look at what else comes up and maybe come across your channel. I'd be more happy to invest in a company where its workers (and managers) can happily talk about what they know about the production side of that company. Straight from the horses' mouth so to speak. I and 113 thousand of your subscribers must also find it watchable to subscribe. Once you've worked in any industry, such as I have, find it very moorish! Thanks.
