im seriously so glad i met someone who had the same idea of wanting to reset life. im trying to get my life together, stop thinking about self-doubts, reducing screen time, be consistent when studying and whatnot. ur one of the only people whos' realistic, you deserve so much love :( lets change together ruri !

I know it's difficult to socialize during this time of pandemic. I also feel that many of my friends changed before and after the repeated lockdowns. People are more politicized now, and has a stronger opinion. I also felt the burnout that you felt... Let's stay strong and be kind to each other, everyone!!

This video is so refreshing! I'm so used to watching videos from people explaining how they prioritize themselves and do self-care online but it's like we've all forgotten that most of these videos are made by influencers that don't have similiar workloads to us viewers.... they usually just have a social media job and that's it (which is still a LOT, but its all focused in one life area at least)- it's no wonder I always left those advice videos feeling WORSE about myself for not being able to do more. But they are comparing themselves to us viewers who have more diverse workloads. This video was amazing to see what big things you have going on yet how you still MAKE time! The fact that you're in school and also have been in an inconsistent living situation while also doing youtube work.... it's like this is the first video i've see about how to take care of yourself from someone that lives a life similar to mine. You ACTUALLY have so much going on and I can relate to it so this video gave me hope that I can also make the time for myself. Thank you!

I’m glad I subscribed to you. Its good to see other people feeling the same way about trying to get through the day while experiencing some form of stress. I just started this new job and trying to balance out other responsibilities is harder than I thought. It’s unfortunate that at some point you have to make some sacrifices to improve other aspects of your life to get a step ahead. I just hope it’s worth it over time….

You remind me a lot of myself at my early 20's, always trying not to waste Time rather than focusing on getting the most of myself in the little Time I can spend doing the things I actually want to be good at. Only advice I can give Is that trying to be better Is more complicated than just following a schedule.

I really needed this, I did a 1 month challenge without my phone in September and I saw a huge progress in my life, I became more productive, my mental & physical health became much better, I've learned many things about me, anyways I totally recommend to everyone to take breaks in order to get your life together, Thanks for this video

I was burnt out too, and I was thinking about changing my life. But it was hard to decide because I decided to change my life so many times and I failed. So I just lost my self-confidence. I love that you have found a new direction. Lean into it. Life is ultimately about making mistakes to grow as a person, it may not seem great at the time but they are important lessons - life is a series of these wonderful affirming lessons. Embrace how you feel, recognise all those complex human emotions (sadness, regret, fear, doubt) but don't be anchored by them. When you can let go of the past failures and control what's in the present you'll find the stress melts away. I have lost a lot of family and loved ones fell into some deep dark places but human resilience is remarkable and adversity in the formative years is a huge advantage for the rest of your life. Stay present. Stay strong

It is incredible how I relate to this content. Like, it is all self-talk all day long about this type of stuff, and you summarized all of it. You even gave some tips that I should try. Try also meditating/breathing techniques, it helped me a lot while feeling close to burn out (maybe I was burned out already). I'm trying to stick to it everyday to build up a routine that let me feel healthier from a mental and body perspective. I wish you and all the people that are reading this, to achieve your goals, and more, but above all, a healthy mind and body, because it is truly important. It is a shame that I was unable to see it in my past years. I guess you sometimes need to touch the bottom of the pool to swim back to the surface, and get higher that you never were before. Stay strong everybody, and let's all become a better version of ourselves :)

I liked the video even before watching because I know it was going to be good. By the end of the video I caught my self scrolling down trying to like it again. All the ideas you mentioned, Ruri, I would appreciate you making them. Notion seems like a really powerful tool, but kind of overwhelming if you don't know where to start.

Burnouts are real and people should feel encouraged to take a break and take care of themselves - unfortunately this society often expects us to work ourselves way above our limit and calls us lazy if we dont which is just wrong, taking care of yourself is a way better way to for a more sustainable life - and using social media the right way is also very important, really liked the theme of this video! 👏👏

Love your passion, reflection and always staying teachable. Making time for things that matter to you is super important to align with your own value system. Having a trusted network is important for feedback and contextualising but committing to who you are without anyone's approval is, for me, more important in today's societal pressures. Take risks, make mistakes and the recognition that you don't want to go back to things that didn't bring you happiness through sheer leaning, will drive to you discovering the unimaginable. You got this.

TYSM for this video! It was like a thing I really need to hear rn! All you said is very useful advice not only for burnout, but also for people with mental problems.For example, sports and the schedule of the day help us a lot. I have bipolar disorder and such a thing as burnout and depression is a part of my life that is hard to fight, but every time I returned to healthy habits it was always easier. The truth is in simplicity, but many people forget about it and often we become lazy :D I am very proud of you, even though recently on your channel! Thank you for such heartfelt videos!

I had the same experience about 3 years ago. I just woke up and decided to be a better version of myself. Which meant exercising, eating healthier (meals preps/cooking), reading books, meditating, waking up at 4am, mindful thinking, and staying on my bigger purpose/mission. ngl its hard. theres so much distraction around us. But the benefits where worth. It made me mentally stronger, I havent been sad or anxiety about anything for 3 years and if I do its very short, I'm more happy, I got more money, I take full responsibility for everything so no blaming others, physically im more cut and fit, I learned new skills, I care for people more, etc. Before I was just a robot with no purpose. idk I just got tired having a little boy mindset in a mans body.

New Ruri unlocked: Wild Ruri. (NGL i like this one two) I never really put effort in a schedule.. but since the last week I do and i am doing better.. still a lot of work to do.. but I feel motivated and happy. Thanks for your encouragement.

Another great video! I experienced burnout in college. I was a business major and was miserable. I decided it was more about being happy in life and focusing on myself. I’m naturally an artistic person so switched majors to graphic design. So much happier now and do that for a living. I wish you luck! ☺️
