HELLO GAMERS. GullYY here, welcome back to another epic Polytopia video. In this video, we're bringing out the new Elyrion Midnight skin and jumping into some random multiplayer 1v1 matches. We have some quick games that demonstrate Elyrion's potential to end games early, as well as the luck factor in Polytopia. Finally, we get a game against a Cymanti player where I make some unnecessarily bad plays that leads to a close game. I hope you enjoy!

In terms of game development, the cymanti player being able to matchmake with an older version game is very interesting. Props to the dev for that tho

Very nice as always. I wonder if they ever add a campaign mode? If they add the ancients as a tribe, I could see that being pretty good.

can you do a match against vengir? i feel like they have become a little too powerful especially when you start with a swordmen and you get a lot of trees in your spawn.

Wow, didn't realize you weren't updated on this stuff, yeah spawns are weird now and villages won't spawn 1 tile away from the edge now on drylands

@@GullYYGamer I've got a decent idea of it, I was told the villages won't spawn 1 tile from the border thing on polychamps. And personally I've been just getting some really weird spawns: such as being a t0 with only one fruit or animal, or cym with only one fungi on lakes and you can spawn in the very edge on some water maps (I think conti) so if you ever run into an opponent with a weird small score, that's why

The game-losing blunder for the Cym player in the last game was definitely at 12:30 when he boosted all his hexapods but didn't do anything with them. I guess he was trying to set up a super dangerous attack with 4 hexapods but he waited too long and you were able to kill them all with your riders. If he sent the two up top by the shaman which had their turns left, he might have been able to turn the game around in his favor.

Killing a centipede with a demon sounds so overkill out of context, lol. As a suggestion, playing the game zoomed in more makes the gameplay more readable, as sometimes for me at least its hard to see what you're doing. It makes things a little harder for you, so it makes if you don't want to though.

Hey im new to this game, and your the only youtuber I see for it, could you make a guide for how attacking works? Like why when I attack with a defender it does 1 damage but when they retaliate its 10?

cymanti was so much weaker on prev ver with 2 star road cost; 2 star hut cost also is more beneficial to non-cymanti because it lessens cymanti's advantage with funghi

I got spawned into a 9 player FFA literally butted up next to elyrion with Polaris. Total BS, I was nice too and didnt try to spawn kill, I went first too
