Those veneers would be perfect to make more complex geometric patterns like fireworks, yosegi or ever a temari look for the round tables. Very cool!

Its really so nice i would love to make my own table. Just leaving some questions here, hoping someone can point me in the right direction. By using veneers wood plates is there a way to achieve the kind of refined elegance as by using skateboards? The skateboard is around 6mm thick and often consist of 3 layers (color-wood-color) making it very refined. I was thinking of just cutting the sticks as thin as possible out of the plate and then after soak them in a variety of colored stain paint. By stacking vineer plates you cant them in color since the 'sides/edges are not colored after cutting.. Or is there something i am missing lol? Thanks

dont know if it would have fit on your cnc but a good surfacing bit would give you a lot of free time
