Absolutely love the washi method on the containers that you did. Genius!!!

Thank you for letting us be part of this amazing project. I have a confetti heavy painting (not so many colours) but I like how you said....just start putting drills down. Great advise.

You’ve got a great mindset to tackle this project, Carra. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I will absolutely adopt some of your suggestions. My favorite part is the confetti bunnies. 🐇

Hi, Carra. Thank you for such a unique video. Allowing others into your thought processes was so helpful. I may not think the way you do but you gave your viewers loads of grace about that and watching what you do made me ask myself how I would want to address the problem my own way. The time just flew by and I enjoyed every minute of it.💜🧚🏼♀️💜

Awww! Thank you so much! I plan to do several videos throughout this project. I’ve already changed my mind on one strategy and I’ve just finished the first section! It will be a process for sure!!

Another great post! I appreciate how encouraging you are. You are a natural educator and wonderful at simplifying the process. They are all tips that will be useful for me as I get back into diamond painting. Can’t wait to see how the divided trays work for you. Looking forward to your next video! Congrats on starting this amazing Diamond painting!

At the beginning of this video I was overwhelmed just thinking on how to handle all those colors 😱but as you explained your method it became more manageable (in my head) and then and the end I was like” ok I can maybe do that" 😅I don’t have any kits with that many colors but I’m hoping one day I get a Josephine Wall. Tfs

I have a diamond painting that has 197 colors. Ive already done one from DAC that had alot of colors but the one with 197 is from Diamond Art Studio. I organized mine by color since it mostly was a rainbow. I got that tip from Diamonds and Washi (Katie). Im not quite finished with it yet because I squirrel all over the place. I really need to finish it. Youre gonna do great on yours! Enjoy!

Lots of great ideas. Thank you. I just started in May, so I've done 1 large project and several smaller ones. I couldn't see the numbers on the canvas with just my glasses on. I happened to have a lighted magnifier that attaches to my work table. Works wonderfully well, for me.

Congratulations, Carra, for the start! I am all kitted up. I kitted up very similar to the way you did. One difference...my kit came with sticker inventory sheets. They were not individually cut, and they were VERY small, but they were usable. I made copies prior to cutting them apart and blew the copies up, so that I can refer to them often. I will probably not be putting drills down until later in the week, as I want to finish my Summer With the Masters project first. Keep sane, and know you are not working on this project alone.

To tilt the drills one could also use a cookbook stand or adjustable plate racks.

I would LOVE to do a max color canvas at some point. Hadn’t found an image that I absolutely loved and now I am on a self imposed no buy….so, I’m not looking! LOL. I laughed at “murder and mayhem”, my hubby and I call our true crime shows/channels, “death and dismemberment”. Looking forward to seeing your progress on this kit. I love how there are so many colors and the canvas is NOT the size of the side of your house…lol

Great tips, thanks!! I'm one of those weird people who LOVE confetti! If they had a cat like your owl, I'd SO get it!!! I'm currently working on "The Librarian" by The One with the Diamond Art, it's only got about 60 colors but I ordered it in an 80x100cm size.. so there is lots of confetti with all the books and swirls in the background. I am excited to see yours as it progresses!!!

Thank you for sharing your process. I am working on a 33x25 with 72 colors. It is the largest canvas and most colors for me and it is a square😮. I am going to try the pool noodle idea.

I've decided that pool noodles should be a part of everyone's DP starter kit at this point.
@theprincipalpainter3 күн бұрын
At least they should have them as a must have starter tool! They have so many uses and at $1.25 are practically free!

I am not doing the owl but I did start in 80/80 steampunk pixie from the one with the diamond art. The confetti is definitely real lol. But I am doing kind of like you one section at a time. I also have other projects going so I don't have to work on it all of the time
