My husband is the most amazing, but my god this guy is close. I will tell you while mine is better to me: I have been sick our whole 9 year relationship, but 3 years ago I needed my fourth operation to remove a tumour on my ovary (bear in mind, his Mum died from Ovarian cancer). I have been through the menopause, I am fat, I have never worked, I struggle to do housework, we are barely able to go out and have a life but he loves me so deeply, that he doesn't care about any of it, infact it just made him value me even more. Mental! He also happens to be so intelligent, absolutely hilarious and looks like a model. 😲😍😍😍

I know I’m a year late but I definitely needed to hear this. Whenever I would do my makeup and feel super pretty my boyfriend would say comments like “ew that’s too much. Or why does it look that way?” In a condescending tone. Then he’d laugh and go back to playing his video game with his friends and proceed to say how I’m doing my makeup like a weirdo when he’s “definitely not taking her out on a date, so idk why she would put on makeup” And when I wasn’t wearing makeup I was told to put on makeup before we went out in public so I would be “presentable”. All my confidence I had would just drop. It took me so long to realize that not just in those moments but all the time he always put me down. I never once felt confident. Since leaving him I finally feel like I’m healing and back on track to be the old me. The one who puts on makeup when I want to because I want to. Or cut my hair the way I want, dress how I like, or listen to my favorite music without being ridiculed. 💜 I’m so glad I found this channel and this wonderful community
