Wueh. The shaking! I legit thought I was gonna die. I shook for HOURS. Then the first pee after the catheter is removed. Father Lord! Thank God a friend who had had surgery a few days prior told me to try walk as upright as possible and to take those walks because it promotes better and fast healing. Point to note: MUMMY DIAPERS ARE A LIFE SAVER. They help lift the mum tum from laying on the incision and alleviate the pain.

Hi Margie, I relate so much with most of what happened. Esp the cold. I didn't get that much pain after being taken to recovery, I guess as you've said yours must have been because of the pus. The headache was related to the anaesthesia, hivo ndio my anesthetist alinishow. My head used to ache nikiketi, nikilala inapoa. 😞😞😞

The coldnesss happens even with normal delivery. I have never had a c section but the cold after you've just pushed the baby out. My firstborn, I thought I was going to freeze to death. Even the jaw start shaking, but the nurse assured me it's normal

I also experienced pain while urinating after the catheter was removed, and also constipation after a week. All other experiences were the same with yours except for the infection

i had my 3rd CS on 28Aug and the procedure was very painful immediately they removed the baby so they gave me some IV medication to knock me off so i woke up later, my baby was in the nursery so going to breastfeed him 3 hourly and walking was an issue. When i went home the wound became more painful every evening but fortunately it was not septic and i only took strong painkillers. Im currently 3 months post cs and my wound is healed but the scar is itchy

My experience. My 1st c-section, I had terrible constipation. I couldn't sit even sleeping was a problem coz I couldn't poop & it was very uncomfortable. Backache after my 1 st c section & I heard it is coz of the spinal injection ( not sure). For both c sections, the sides of the wound took the longest to heal.
