Everybody wants to improve their squash. But not just that, they want to do it with the least amount of money and/or effort. What could be easier or cheaper than swinging a racket without needing to be on a squash court?
Shadow swings allow you to learn or refine a new technique and also help you get stronger. That should be seen as a supplement to playing, not as a replacement. However, shadow swings can be performed almost anywhere and don't require you to visit your squash facility, so in some ways they are perfect for ambitious, busy squash players.
They can be performed by very new players, intermediate and onto advanced players too. Do pros do them? Probably not, but they spend between 20-30 hours per week on court anyway!
Stop whatever you are doing, grab your racket, find a suitable location and start swinging NOW!
