Vendreads is one of my favorite "bad" decks. I won't lie, it will brick or lose to a single ash blossom. That said, there are some amazing combos and plays the deck can go through. I'm going to brag a bit and say that I have a few replays of the deck "cooking" myself that will make this one look like a beginner. One is featured on Simp King's channel, but I have a few others. One is funny, two of them are from the recent fusion/link event vs. Dinomorphia and Scareclaw, and the last is from an old tournament vs. Purrely, but that one is the most boring. There was a kind of inconsistent combo I used to do where you would go origin to summon slayer banishing jiangshi from the GY, then you can summon Jiangshi with its own effect and dump a card. Then you have 2 sixes for link or Xyz plays

I'm glad you enjoyed the replay! I hope you check out the 18 turn one at some point, I know it seems long but it was a very fun one. Faced against a Kashtira opponent with Tearlament using a Vendread deck with Shiranui support that time around, and it has a crazy final round showdown moment. I'm still somewhat new to playing Yugioh and even though I know Vendread is considered low tier, I've been having a lot of fun regardless 😁. I just have a soft spot for their whole Spawn-like vibes and their gameplay just feels fun to me.

In MD, the additional effect from Non-Ritual Vendread is always applied the first we ritual summon with them on the field. On paper, can you not give the additional effect to your 1st Ritual summon, and give the additional effect to the next ritual-summoned monster?

Do sure applied effect of Vendread material if Ritual summoned successfully by using the card on the field is NOT optional

The effect is granted to the monster that was summoned using them as material on the field. You can't choose when to grant it.
