My oldest brother was a life member of the Finks on the Gold Coast. He offered to nom me when I was 25. I was ultra proud that he had that level of respect for me. I had an awesome Mrs at the time and declined his offer. Instead, I bought a house not long after and started an apprenticeship as a sparky at 26. I'm now 47. Still a sparky. Been working for the supply authority in Brisbane for 16 years. Still with the same Mrs and we're very fiinancially stable. Unfortunately my brother is dead as a result of the life he chose. I miss him every day but never regret the decisions I've made. Getting up and grinding through the days, weeks, months and years as a hard working member of society and supporting the people you care about is the real man shit! Well done bro!👊🏻

Keep it up uso. Alot of our youth go down this path, especially most of my friends who's footy careers didn't work out for them. Your story is the story of thousands of poly/kiwi/aussie boys bro. Good stuff.

Brother straight up you’re a role model for the younger boys coming up through these areas, i myself nearly walked the same path many years ago. It’s hard when you’re young to not get stuck idolising the money, cars and doobays especially when you come from nukk all.. Watching your videos are in a way comparable to Spanians, the way you both express yourself, carry yourself and the language you use makes it feel like you’re one of the brothers from the area and there’s great power in that. You have the relatability, the understanding and the platform to really get through to these younger lads. Keep fighting the good fight bra 💪🏻

grow up on the goldy my best friends family was well known in the underworld scene use to stay over his house when we were kids and stuff kinda looked at his Dad as a father figure as i lost mine. 10 years later 20 years old was asked by a member if i wanted to nom up as my best m8 was too. after talking it out with them me and my m8 got pulled aside by his Dad he gave as a deep talk told as theres better things for us out there than this etc i decided not to but my m8 still went ahead as he felt he needed to keep the family bloodline. was the best decision i ever made. 39 years old now and my m8 has been locked up myltiple times and has a drug addiction its sad to see and hear him. hes a lost soul. i moved out of goldy now reside in perth doing the FIFO thing with my partner and my 2 boys and 1 girl. the choices we make define the person we are going to be in the future. make GOOD choices lads!!
