Rav: doesnt die once while living on an island where you can count the number of building in a bit over a minute me: barely able to exist in dayz with military-grade loot

Three years ago when I first got Dayz I Spawned at Kamy And the first thing I did was swim to that island and jump off the radio tower

More fun to watch than I expected. Keep doing weird challenges. For example: Kill a bear with a splitting axe, manly pioneer style, and show us the misses and prep.

Imagine being a sweatlord and comming to the island to loot, and finding a lone player just surviving and enjoying life

Back in the Arma 2 DayZ times, me and my friend swam out to Skalinksy Island one time, because when DayZ first came out 10 years ago, there was a rumor that the island was haunted and if you went there at night you could have a paranormal event.

Finding that code lock was extremely lucky, and the nails and saw.. Too lucky maybe? 🤔🤭

Few months back I lived there for about 3 weeks, it's easy to live there permanently, a chicken always spawns, the zombies usually carry food and you can fish, also the water fountain, guns I've found there have been sks, shorty, mosin, and even tundra, all rifles have been scoped or unscoped.

This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for

I like these challenges. I do a similar thing in the RP server I play on. I drive around in my m3s and set up pioneer style camp sites in various places so I can learn the map better. A challenge I do sometimes is traveling using only trails and roads. I find some fantastic camping sites this way

Lol . I lived on this island for months . I used to call it suicide island as there was a spawn point on it on Xbox and people used to jump off the lighthouse to re spawn on the mainland . It has a well and chickens . It used to spawn a Mosin and ammo . From the radio tower you can shoot fresh spawns at the boats it’s 500 yards . It took ages to swim there . Oh from the radio tower you can shoot people at the lighthouse on the mainland it’s nearly a thousand yards . The devs moved the island closer to the mainland I think now as you wouldn’t survive the 20 min swim without gearing up first

Be careful meeting the locals. My favorite neighbors are Fred and Flo they are the zombies that live next door to the north on the farm ... They are very moody. Other than that great area for a farming and fishing. 🙈🙊🙉🤗

Done this last April on Don Sibley’s Survival server that only had 1/5th the loot of a normal server. I possibly did x10 more laps than you did. Stone knives, chicken bone hooks and mackerel kept me alive. The one hunting stand gave me a knife just in time to replace my last stone knife. One day all the boats had stuff which exceeded the mathematical odds. CAVEAT: I broke it up into multiple game sessions over a weekend/server hopping as it was nigh impossible if you burned up all your calories

Wish this was me, i would just RP as a fisherman; sell fish; then buy a heli (if the server had them); fly back and forth between the island and safezone, possibly picking up Bambis and bringing them to the safe zone

This island is a good place to base down. Not that far of a swim and not hard on your character as long as you have full food and water and warm clothes

Next set of challenges: check on every past challenge base you've had since the wipe and upgrade them as much as you can. The goal is to make an un-raidable base.

I've built there before on console when they first added the fishing rod. With 1.15 it would be much easier to fortify the place. It did take a long time to find nails

Boats on the beaches is the best place to find netting btw

I actually recently set up a base in the alcove with stares beside the 2 kiosks before the Feb reset haven't been raided (except for the inevitable reset comeing) is really nice for players wo like playing alone and/or with friends

I love using the improvised shelter it’s so good to stash base building supplies

A lot of good loot there. Went there once . Got a tundra a mozin. Ammo etc. Your first run . Someone had been there recently. Like last 4 or 5 hours

Me and a few others built our Base on Skalisty Island and we was there a month until a server Wipe. It has good loot there

As someone who likes to play solo and avoid pvp when possible I always liked skalisty 😂. It is a good place though better than most people think. I always find a gun there.
