I understand why nintendo choose cartridge over dvd, unlike ps and xbox cartridge is more durrable and can be sell for used, while ps and xbox dvd can get scratched up and get fake copies because its a dvd i dont think people can supercopy and switch gamecard

Btw if you didnt know, Console platform that uses "cartridge" NES SNES N64 GAMEBOY GAMEBOY COLOR GAMEBOY ADVANCE console platform that uses "game card" NINTENDO DS NINTENDO 3DS NINTENDO SWITCH cartridge are a pack of box-like card which the metals are behind the plastic, there are air inside the cartridge, while game card are like credit card which the metals are exposed in the open, it is slimmer than cartridge and more durable than a cartridge which there were no air inside the game card

Yea most Nintendo made games on switch take up almost none of the actual cartridge. The whole game is stored in a small bit on the bottom. That’s why the game still worked, cause he didn’t drill through the acuall game part
