2022 has been such a good year for pokemon(in my opinion) I loved brilliant stars and the pulls from it. I knew the rainbow charzard would be up there mainly just because it's charzard

Welcome back and yes the artwork has really reached crazy heights over the years. It almost feels like when the sequel is as good as the first movie if that makes sense. Wizards of the Coast era is Episode IV and Sword and Shield era is like Empire Strikes Back.

@Lx Shiriga alt art is short for alternate artwork. It's when a card has a different look ( normally something more intricate ) than the 'basic' looking cards in the set.

This is such a great way to connect and spend time with my son. He's 6. I buy the packs and he does the opening. I was in college in 1999 so the nostaligia factor is limited for me. My son, however, will have great memories collecting cards and watching this channel.

Same for me! My son is 11 and he started collecting Christmas of 2018. I would have never thought in a million years that Pokemon can create such bonding moments with my son! There are so many lessons in life with these cards that can be learned. He trades at school in a Pokemon club every other Tuesday, the Monday night before we strategize his trade cards as he builds Astral Radiance, Brilliant stars and Silver Tempest. I got him a Iconic Charizard graded mystery box this Christmas. It is now his prize possession! Keep on enjoying the time with your son, Life is short and its the small moments we must hold dear! Peace my Brother!

Even without searching on Google, I honestly think the Giratina Alt art is the most sought after card of 2022. The first time I saw that, I immediately knew it would be special. That art work is just insane. It looked like it should be made into a church glass window. So good.

I once pulled a 2016 Mega Charizard Y from the Evolutions... the art is sick, its full holo, all the stuff. I think it's worth like $250 or something.
