Harland being serious and being grateful for what he has been able to do solidifies him as a great and humble guy.

I loved that movie. Watched it a million times as a teen, along with Casper and Young Guns. I saw a clip of this dude the other day on Pauly Shores podcast and Pauly got heated with him because he kept looking at the camera. I've never laughed so hard. This dude is a legend.

Thank GOD he said yes. Kenny is easily one of the best parts and the story is centered around him. One of my ALL TIME favorite scenes is when he's feeding the horse and he asks if it wants something to eat and a big lady walking by assumes he's talking to her and her response the first time I watched HB, had me DYING. Also, the scene when he's crossing out Nasty Nate on the calendar. "Naughty jungle of love" I have to say, my dearest Harland scene in a movie is his cameo in There's Something About Mary. It's SO absurd I made myself memorize his pitch for Seven Minute Abs. So stupid and ridiculous but it makes me crack when he says," Step into my office, BECAUSE YOU"RE F"N FIRED". Slays me.

Harland was about 35-6 when he made Half Baked. I thought he was in his early 20s.

The record store in the background, Sam the Record Man, is also in the final fight scene of The Incredible Hulk movie Hulk VS Abomination. The Pizza Place Buttercup is outside of is still there, a massive chain named Pizza Pizza, but the record store is no more, its sign was saved and eventually put up in Dundas Square about 300 yards away.

That would be Pizza Pizza on Yonge street in Toronto Across the street from Sam the Record Man, you can see the spinning record lights reflecting in the pizza store windows.

You cannot cut this man down. He always is going to say some shit that's not only going to one up on you it's going to be completely out of another dimension. No one including himself is even ready for it too which is the best part.

And it ended making him super famous. It's his most well known film. Sometimes things you don't want to do end up being the best thing for you.
