1000 Days in Hardcore Minecraft. This is a 600 hour project with over 500 cinematic shots, 50 pages of script and one epic journey. A 1000 day movie about not giving up, about redemption, about dreams and most of all about Minecraft. Grab your popcorn and enjoy the movie.
You're about to enjoy a Hardcore Minecraft story where I'm building a world like Wadzee, Sandiction, Ph1Lza, SB737, aCookieGod, Kolanii, Beppo, LockDownLife and others. All with a single life and streamed live multiple days a week.
I had such an awesome hardcore world that I worked on for 2 years. Now it's time to focus up and bounce back so my new series can stand amongst the current hardcore greats or even all time Minecraft favourites such as Grian, Mumbo Jumbo, GoodTimesWithScar, iskall85 and everyone on the Hermitcraft server. Not to forget great builders like SmallishBeans, fWhip and TheMythicalSausageover over on Empires SMP.
This is the beginning of another magical world built in Vanilla Survival Minecraft. This is my season 2: a Tale of a Loonatic

Hey guys, I hope you enjoy this proper movie. There's a lot of blood, sweat and tears in this one. I saw someone spotted a piglin spawn egg on the S1 death cinematic. That isn't the actual death, it's the cinematic recreation for this video as I didn't have replay mod on at the time. You might also notice that I'm on the other side of the portal than I was at the actual death and that there were a ton of enchanted books in my inventory that I had just used to enchant armour so the clip looked right.

Yeah I would have never seen that as a solution. I was thinking that the ender dragon was spawned incorrectly and was either trapped inside the island or very far away. On one of my worlds, this was an issue. The dragon did spawn but it spawned like 1,000 blocks away. I had to fly it back to the island to fight it

What a cinematic masterpiece. I don't think I could count the number of builds that must have taken hours, just so you could have a 5-15 second clip in a video about a different world. It's so obvious how much of your heart and soul you put into this video, and every ounce of it paid off. Beautiful work

I lost my creative world about 6 years ago when my son got my laptop corrupted with some virus and we had to wipe the laptop. I was so pissed, I had a whole working town and it broke my heart to lose it all, it took about a year to build everything.

Imagine having a mincraft world with your brother. Never having anything in common or your brother never speaking to you. I still have that mincraft years old remembering I have a brother. Playing on XBOX 360 the first time mincraft released on console. The only thing you and your brother can relate on and have good laughs. I still wish I could have had a relationship with my family or brothers. Same things with halo not gonna lie.

@@LoonyMC I’ve got an idea for you: since you built and amazing nether hub in your first series (which is one of the coolest builds I’ve ever seen) you could copy that but in the end but use different blocks like purer and end stone instead of nether brick and stone bricks and make and end version of you previous hub!

I just have to say, the world itself aside, your storytelling and cinematography is so good! I agree that your world is super special, but your dedication and persistence in keeping it going even when all seemed lost is really awe-inspiring. Also, wasn't expecting the random message about colonialism, but as someone still dealing with its repercussions so many centuries later, I really appreciate it. Okay, like… I wasn't ready for all of this. I mean, I didn't even know your channel, the video popped in my suggestions, and I clicked to check what is was about, letting it roll during me playing minecraft. Oh my gosh. I just wanted to find a video to put on in the background while I did stuff, but I did not expect to go through such an emotional journey. I’ve felt so many things through this entire movie than I’ve felt in a while and I cannot deny how invested I got. Especially in the part where he got stuck in the end, I literally started to tear up a bit. I am so proud of him for pushing through such a painful experience of literally losing a part of you and having to start all over and persevering and building something even greater. I am so taken by this I had to sub and arch more videos. Also, lives the editing with all the replays and fun edits, and magnificent story telling. You my guy are truly amazing and I have mad respects for you.

This by far was the best minecraft video that I have watched! I'm hooked. The story telling had me instantly wanting more. Very fun, entertaining, exciting, and emotional. I love the amount of respect and reflection that you do on the world. Whether its to the mobs that have died under your hands, or the destruction you've caused, you always apologize and try to make things right with what you have. I watched this twice because I didn’t have the ability to watch. I was crying just listening to this. I watch it back over and cried myself to sleep mid video. The most empathetic but joyous tears I’ve ever had. I lost a world I worked on with my sister just recently due to corruption files and the only backup I had was 2 days in without our good builds. Sadly we aren’t able to play together anymore because she doesn’t have Minecraft. But it just hit home too hard. Thank you to whoever in chat called those stone. And the ideas altogether. Your dedication is crazy man, after losing all that progress, you moved on and started an even better journey, editing this video must have taken ages. It'll be crazy if you hit 10 thousand days in hardcore. (side note) around a year ago, I watched your 5000 days in hardcore, I commented about starting my own hardcore world, I kept failing then gave up, watching this made me want to start again.

The whole idea of a minecraft world being a part of you, a journey from which one will never return the same... that earns my respect. It's not every day you see someone who's willing to actively learn from the journey, let alone share with the whole world the joys and sorrows, the things lost and those that were found, the whole experience. This randomly autoplayed after a hermitcraft episode. It was long but i had nothing better to do before i went to bed. OMG what a heart-felt amazing story W/ a roller coaster of emotion. I felt the pit in my stomach as you were making your "tribute" to the world in the END; and jumped for joy teary eyed when that beautiful, beautiful purple bar FINALLY popped back up. That breif delay/pause between felt like an eternity of disbelief... Tldr; autoplay got me hooked......subed

I'm going to say this now. I have never watched Loony. I had my KZfaq on autoplay and was listening to Philza's Hardcore series. This video came up right after it. Loony, you came across my feed for the first time ever today and what an amazing way to be introduced to you! This was incredible in so many ways. I never thought I’d be motivated to be a better person from watching a Minecraft movie out of all things. I almost never comment let alone like a video and subscribe but the way you left me feeling motivated and ready tackle my real life challenges makes me feel that it is the absolute least I can do! I clicked on this video, because I recognized the name from the GameOfThrones thing you did not long ago. This was my first ever video watched of yours, I was thinking "oh cool, I can let this 1000 days play in the background as I get some stuff done. Maybe I'll click over and get inspiration from some builds ect." BOI was I wrong, I did not manage to click off the entire video, I got nothing done, and I had to pause to take in the story multiple times. This may be the first video I have seen, But you're already a story telling legend at this point. I'm about to start my own hardcore journey and my first youtube channel for it, just to recall later the adventures I will have. You have inspired me to take it up to the next level and give my world a story! Thank you good sir!

I... can't belive i'm about to say this but... I have been motivated to play survival for the first time in my 9 almost 10 years of playing this game. And this was the first time i got Villagers, beat the ender dragon alone, got netherite, got maxed out and even hit almost 100 days. I can't believe myself. I made this world like a month ago and i still didn't loose motivation. Compared to my other worlds, where i played for 2 hours and lost motivation, this is REALLY good. Thank you Loony, and i have watched this entire video. I can't wait for the next one and i have to say that i'm really thankful for this video and this series. Thank you so fricking much.
