an easier way for brown haired girls to dye their hair without bleach! OR IS IT??? find out with me! i've been wanting to dye my hair blue since 7th grade and i finally got the chance to; with some struggles along the way of course.. wouldn't be my life without em! enjoy! subscribe for more. - nat the rat :)

I've been lowkey wanting to sort of do a navy/inky blue/black on my dark brown hair--like a comic book character blue-black if you know what I mean. Wondering how long it stays on, though, because I'm not sure I can commit for more than a couple months tbh.

I just got that stuff. I'd been using the pastel, vibrant and extreme since I bleached my dark ass hair so it was vibrant as hell. Trying to grow It out tho and not bleach anymore so I'm crossing my fingers on the blue for dark version

I used this too and it was okay. I was mostly interested in seeing the color get picked up by my canas. 🤣 I knew it wasn’t going to show much on my black hair. It’s a hot mess to apply, so same. I ended up a mess afterwards. The thing I really didn’t like was that since it’s semi-permanent, any time time I would run my hand through my hair I would see the blue dye on my hands and even worse when I wore a white shirt. It would end up stained by the end of the day. That’s why I just washed it out until gone. It was messy the whole way through, the application and after. Plus, you do go through most of the tub in one application if you have long hair. It was cool to try out, but I didn’t think it was that worth it. Like watching your video, especially when you mentioned watching your novela over dying your hair because of course - priorities. Same. 🙋🏻‍♀️

it can't be, I didn't want to bleach my hair, but at the hairdresser they told me that it was necessary if I wanted to have it blue (my hair is a very very dark brown), damn, if I had known that it existed these kind of dyes.

Actually they are quite right.. but it also depends alot of your hair if it wants blue or not.. I saw people with different blue dyies and all of them have or don't have blue on their hair 🙄 for me I tried highlights of blue.. i have dark brown hair at a base and blue didn't stayed on my brown, it was good on the highlighted ones. But I tried after months while my highlights were quite blond-white.. then the dye doesn't want to stay only on half of my highlights 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 So honestly I really recommand a bleach hair.. for blue it's really a difficult color >_< but you can also try directly the commercial (pro) dies and then see how it goes. I mean, I think you already went if I good understand to a salon. So don't worry you'll be happier longer and the blue is probably better than without bleach 😊

dflowersz I’ve seen others do pink for dark hair and it’s not very noticeable! You can only see a red tint while in the sun. I would recommend bleaching it a little for it to be more noticeable! The lighter the better! Hope that helps :)

@@gnat. Ive been dyeing my hair pink every other Friday untill I ran out. It turned my hair a sort of orangish lighter version of my natural hair (dark brown) but! When I was dying my hair like a month ago it was link so the vibrant pink for a work as long as you just be consistent with it. also, I'm very sensitive to like every product ever lol so I would totally bleach my hair but I can't 😭

@@dflowersz8922 I tried pink on my dark hair and if you're consistent with it it definitely works, but if you're not very consistent with it then I won't really show up. I dyed my hair every other Friday with the vibrant pink color and it turned my hair a lighter pinkish orangish color of my natural hair.

there’s actually still blue coming out of my hair so my hair hasn’t completely gone back to its original color. The fading color has just been looking green and yellow-ish but i can see my original hair color peeking through. (It’s been 3 months)
