🚀You probably already know that while in vertex mode, selecting a vertex and pressing V "rips" the vertex apart, allowing you to detach and move it. But holding Alt + V (known as "rip fill") does the same thing, but the difference being that as you move the ripped vertex, there is no hole left behind in the mesh! Blender automatically fills it as you move the vertex around!

A computer looks at them and sees completely different symbols. here they are side by side (copied from your comments) first one is cimpinalls and the second one is what you're using. ‘ ' “ " Useless and annoying that it exists but interesting either way. If you want to make your keyboard work like this you can use an American keyboard layout when making a new keyboard layout nearly identical to the one you're using now, except replace the ' with a ‘ from the official US qwerty keyboard.

One of my favorite tips is recently found is for sure "Link Object Data" rather than using using arrays and mirrors, this is a simpler way for things like various windows on a building in different spots.

@@KaizenTutorials You can use alt+d to duplicate, which changes it to where to edit 1 they both change. However if you do a normal duplicate and have 2 objects you can ctrl+l Link Object Data which does the same thing but after the fact. This make it to where when you edit 1 object, everything within the Linked Object Data will look the same. Its essentially like using an array or a mirror but for objects in various locations in the scene. Ex. being i've primarily used it for windows in buildings if i want to edit the windows later.

Blender’s underlying data structure is the best possible thing you can learn about. Not only can mesh data be shared but pretty much anything else including animation data, camera, lights, or even entire scenes. I remember when I first understood that in Blender, the ‘composition’ (to make an After Effects comparison) i.e scene is not fundamental, but rather the objects and data are. in other words an object can exist in multiple scenes, and it is not just a copy of the object but the very same object, it was pretty mind blowing.

🚀 Delete without confirmation: By default, when you when you delete a mesh by pressing X, you get a confirmation popup. This can become very annoying! The solution? Go into Edit > Preferences and from within the Keymap section, search for the term "delete" (without quotes). In the search results, scroll down to the "Object Mode" section and open the X shortcut panel. Simply uncheck the "Confirm" option, save your preferences and viola! From now on, whenever you delete something, Blender will simply delete it without that forsaken confirmation popup! Life.Is.Good.

@@lawrencedoliveiro9104 I mentioned "Object Mode" in my post (Edit Mode is a different animal entirely - you wouldn't want to remove anything from that). So if you don't receive any confirmation popup when deleting objects in object mode via the X key, you're set (if however you are deleting objects from within the Outliner [pressing X with an object selected from within there bypasses confirmations if I'm not mistaken]). In either case, it sounds like you are already ready to go! On my end, by default, the "Confirmation" radial option was checked on, thus resulting in the annoying popup.

What sucks beyond just being taught imperial from the ground-up is that you have to learn metric anyway. Cars built in the states have both imperial and metric nuts and bolts, which is SUPER FUN. Lots of building materials are technically measured in metric, but metric measurements always appear secondary on all of our measurement tools. Most of us who do any kind of "work" here know the struggle. lol It's awful sometimes.

Yeah, I can only imagine. I was watching this video on arbitrary imperial unit sizes and there's absolutely tons of them and they're all so confusing. Metric just makes more sense in my opinion! Hopefully with the globalization of the world, eventually, the USA will switch to Metric aswell.
@rendermoore
@rendermoore Жыл бұрын
@@KaizenTutorials We tried to switch once, it didn't go well. That was my favorite tip though, I think in imperial so I either switch to imperial or google a conversion. This tip will make it slightly less burdensom to be an American
@Puckerization
@Puckerization Жыл бұрын
@@rendermoore The thing is, you already think in metric when you deal with money. Metric is a form of decimalization which is hard-wired into any American. The UK pre 1971 did not have a decimalized currency and was even more convoluted than the Imperial measurement system. Out of 195 countries in the world, only 3 use Imperial (USA, Myanmar, and Liberia) although metric being official in the UK, people still use Volume in Imperial.

I wish LOAD UI was disabled by default, and honestly, there should be a possibility to adjust default values for settings like this one.

I agree. Maybe you can save it in your default startup file though.. haven't tried, so not sure!

@@KaizenTutorials Nah, it doesn't work, cuz Blender doesn't remember your choice even within a single session. Same with another tool - dissolve edges. By default, "dissolve vertices" subsetting is ON and no matter how many times you turn it off, it will stay ON the following times. Wish Blender would generally be better in remembering user's last choices.

You can set the default behaviour so that it never loads ui by simply going to Edit > Preferences and from within the Save and Load panel, uncheck Load UI and save your preferences!

Remember, the UI settings include all the workspaces defined in that document. If you have a team workflow which involves moving documents between different team members, then the workspace setups will likely be part of that.

How i create vibrating object on a certain frame in blender.
@KaizenTutorials
@KaizenTutorials Жыл бұрын
Vibrating? You can animate the location of an object to 'vibrate'. Easiest is take an object, go to the desired point in the animation, add a location keyframe, change the timeline window to be the graph editor and select the keyframe you just added there (a line). Now open the right side menu with N and go to generators > noise. Tweak the settings and you should have a vibrating object!
