Nicholas Bourbaki, the math group, is also heavily influenced by alchemy and morphing certain elements with math as a base. I believe Tyler used the name because it represents the bishop morphing souls into something darker. Also, Keons is one of the bishops so he's not as much a god, but more the dark part of someone like all the bishops and Blurryface. That could still refer to a world without God or the disorder and worry about death when you are faithless though. And Clancy is not as much a part of Tyler, but more a character he created so that he could explore Dema. So it's like he's a copy or a shell for Tyler to explore Dema and Trench in. Now for Morph, the song is about running from darkness, that either being death or mental illness. But the two kind of go hand in hand when it comes to Twenty One Pilots. *There's no "above", or "under", or "around" it * Meaning there is no way to escape what he is running from. *For "above" is blind belief and "under" is sword to sleeve * Going above death is believing in God, believing there is something more that is larger than death and life. But with that also comes the fact that there's no proof for God and therefore it's blind belief. Under means that they'll take themselves out before darkness can get to them, aka committing suicide. A sword to sleeve there refers to a weapon that they should've put away, something they use to harm themselves and kill themselves but really shouldn't. *And "around" is scientific miracle, let's pick "above" and see* With around they mean escaping death but staying on the same plain. So basically teasing death in a way. I'm pretty sure with scientific miracle they mean healthcare and stuff like that, science helping you escape death by curing illness etc. *For if and when we go "above", the question still remains * *Are we still in love and is it possible we feel the same?* This is them saying even if they pick above and pick God, there's still worry whether they truly believe in God and therefore love him. Being in love could also refer to God not loving him back so basically him saying he puts blind belief in God but he doesn't receive care back, which in turn makes him question God more and love him less. *And that's when going "under" starts to take my wonder* Which brings us to them considering death because he can't see his belief in God helping him out and teasing death via scientific miracle won't keep him forever. One more thing, the heatless fire in Bandito refers to the neon. It's what the bishops use to keep the subjects interested. It resembles fire, draws attention, but in the end doesn't give them the warmth and life that fire does. It also refers to how neon is used in the gravestones in Necropolis. They are there to be admired but there's no soul, no fire, under it because the people are dead. Completely unrelated, but the cat is very cute.

Also In the music video In Nico and the Niners Tyler is escaping through Under ground tunnels. As he say in "Bandito" "I could take the high road, but I know that I'm going low." He means that he is going through the tunnels to escape Nico. It also makes me wonder if Josh has already made it out, went to get more banditos to help Tyler escape from Nico. Because in Nico and the Niners Josh comes, with more banditos in through the same tunnel they exit out of at the end of the song. That's all I have made out for now. If you don't know what Null Set is, it's a mathematical term the empty set or null set is the unique set having no elements (aka matter that the numbers make up) which makes it equal to 0. But instead of writing just 0 the created the symbol Ø. Nicolas Bourbaki is the Morph of Blurryface. Its a name/pseudonym/alias that the 9 Bishops, aka Nico and the Niners hide behind in DEMA. If you are a hardcore fan you will have realized that in the song Doubt, Tyler references what is to come, DEMA. "Gnawing on the bishops Claw away at the system Repeating simple phrases Someone holy insisted Want the mark he's made on my skin To mean something to me again" Repeating simple phrases-"East is Up" East is references from the which the group Nicolas Bourbaki chose to name themselves from: General Charles-Denis Bourbaki of the french Army of the East. If you turn the map from the website to due East, the district that "Clancy" aka Tyler was at is called "Reisdro." When he was making his music for Vessel and Blurryface it was a cry for help that his original fans heard who supported him. This is why he said in an interview that it is used as a cry for help in Trench.

In the Heavydirtysoul music video; josh try’s to stop the car, bust fails(the car is serving bc it’s blurryface/nico driving and he can’t see the yellow lines). And finally in the Nico and the Niners music video, the levitate music video, and the jumpsuit music video; josh try’s to help Tyler out of dema, succeeds, then fails. Hey, you probably won't see this but one day I randomly found this video because I looked up "nicolas bourbaki" after listening to morph for the first time. This video literally introduced me to top and all the lore, and its been awesome. Thanks.

I think "east is up" is about a rebelling, see: There's a letter by clancy on the Dema website saying "get out, the compass lies". A compass only shows that east is up, if you're using it wrong or if you choose to follow the non-obvious way, the one that's known as the right. And the map of Dema looks like a compass. Also in the beginning of Nico and the niners, the voice speaking backwards says "we will invide Dema and head true east, we are banditos" and the banditos are the rebels here, so maybe "east is up" is kind of a message like "don't believe Dema's lies, go by the rebellious way, don't follow their rules, join the banditos and follow the east side, get out". So "east is up" against the compass rules. . . (Sorry for any english mistakes, also sorry if I'm being very dumb and didn't notice)

East is up corresponds to the blurryface album cover. Each circle represents both a song and a bishop of Dema. To properly correlate the map of the bishops of Dema to the cover/songs, east points up.

Also taking the low road is a reference to the Bible when Jesus says that few will find the path to heaven. It is narrow, it is the path less traveled. It is the low road rather than the high road. Dema represents the sin of the world, and the Banditos take the low road into the city to help people escape destruction. Just my take on it.

READ THIS PLEASEEEEE Something I think you didn’t say, Nico tried to kill himself because he failed, tøp was a failure but didn’t try to kill himself so maybe that’s what Tyler is being challenged by Nico because he doesn’t want suicide to be happening so he’s like a copy but part of that copy was put into blurryface so you have Tyler and blurryface and they’re both Nico and failures but Tyler’s against Nico and blurryface because they go with suicidal thoughts and actions while Tyler tries to stop it.
