I worked in a company like that what tended to happen is manager bozo would drastically cut hours and people and look great and get promoted, then manager B comes in and is screwed because he has to boost hours and fix everything that manger bozo stuffed up and so his balance sheet would look crap so he got demoted, then manager C would come in make things better and get a side ways promotion and then the whole cycle would start again.

In August 2009, Ian & Peter first showcased Grillstream on the BBC television show Dragons Den, with a further appearance on the follow up program on the 24th October 2010. Following the interest after the show was broadcast, in 2010 Grillstream successfully licensed their technology to a number of manufacturers worldwide. Grillstream has grown into one of the largest home grow BBQ brands in the UK market, and is found in other licensed territories worldwide with further licensing opportunities still available. May 2011 saw Grillstream Technology received an award at the prestigious DIY product of the year awards.

I think he meant that he doesn't want to be known as the grill guy abd his name to be synonymous with the grill. George foremans name is almost joined to the hip to the grill. Some people don't know who George foreman is but they know the George foreman grill.

I don't know how they are doing now but they did take Theo's advice and license the design worldwide and it seemed to be very profitable. There was even a follow up Dragon's Den episode of Theo visiting them and they pitched another investment idea.

Theo was the only one who made sense, get them licensed into other BBQs and get the royalty, the business operated for about 10 years and was dissolved with 59k worth of stock, and around the same in debt... nice idea but they were building and selling the whole BBQ.

A lot of people don't cook, why's everyone going after Deborah for it? Millions of men never cook, nobody bats an eye. One woman doesn't and everyone freaks out that she has servants or chefs. No! Her spouse does the cooking! That's pretty normal.

I would consider it normal even if she had a personal chef working for her family. It's no different to hireing someone to clean your house. Or taking care of your garden. Or a Nanny for your kids when you're at work. And when you're rich you can pay others to do whatever task you don't like doing yourself. There's nothing strange about not liking cooking no matter what gender you are. It's time consuming and can get messy. Naturally a busy business woman if not liking cooking in the first place would rather maximise the time she can spend at work and with her children/family by hireing someone to cook for her. Of course I don't know why she doesn't cook and how she's arrange it but just saying it's really not strange or anything to judge.

Ahh, they should have pitched this on Shark Tank. People buy stuff for their bbq. In fact, I recall the day when the book section at my local store was replaced with a bbq section. So many want all the gadgets and to be the bbq master of the neighborhood/circle of friends. No matter how clueless they were here, Lori Greiner could have stuck this on QVC US and sold a ton.

Indeed they did. They successfully licensed the product shortly after this aired and went on to become one of the biggest players in the UK BBQ market along with being award winners.
