When my husband passed and we shared two very young boys, I realized quickly how friends dropped me after his death. Maybe they didn’t know what to say or felt uncomfortable being around me. If possible, please don’t walk away from your friend’s spouse. He will need laughter and love which will help the healing process❤

She’s resting in the bosom of God. She’s at peace and doesn’t know that she’s experienced death because right now she’s resting. Just know that she knew you loved her even before her last breath ❤

Jess, My heart breaks for you in this moment of loss & sadness. I too, have lost 3 loved ones & a friend back to back. In tines like these there are no words that could bring comfort. Take comfort on the peace that passes all your understanding and shall guard your heart & mind through Christ Jesus. As I read the Word of God, I came to a scripture that said: Ecclesiastes 9:5 KJV - For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. I pray for God's peace, understanding and healing for you & her family. God's ways are not our ways, His mind is so much higher. In my understanding of that scripture alone, I would hope to see my loved ones in that great getting up morning when the trumpet shall sound & the dead in Christ shall rise & we who remain shall be caught up together to meet them in the air. I look forward to that, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we lose our loved ones, it hurts like nothing else. But I trust God & His wisdom. You don’t have to have any answers. Your friend had her own private walk and ultimately only she knows why now. Our God is beyond our comprehension and sometimes it’s easier to not try to understand but to remember in ALL circumstances he remains a good God even when it’s hard and sad and we don’t get it. My condolences to you and your friend's family and friends. Ironically, I was just speaking to my aunt who passed a few hours ago. She was deaf and I thought if she can hear, I wanted her to hear my voice for the 1st time. So when you said you were talking to your friend just in case she could hear. I didn't believe in people coming back, but when my best friend passed, she came to me to say good bye. A few minutes later her twin called to let me know of her passing.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand your questions and how you feel. I'm dealing with my mother's passing right now, and I'm not handling it well. Your video was triggering for me because I share your sense of confusion and the unfairness and emptiness of it all. I welcome, receive, and appreciate all the prayers and comforting words, but nothing helps. I'm out of my mind with grief. I just continue to pray for God's mercy because I need it more than ever. I think we all grieve the way you do... we are normal then we cry. The hardest part is moving and living after special people in our lives transition. While she may not be on Earth physically her spirit still lives on. So if we're going by that notion I would say your friend can hear you. And I truly do believe their spirits live on.
