Yeah it’s tough. It’s even stranger when you meet up after many years with your best friend from childhood and realize that you are much different people and that the only thing you have in common at this point are your shared memories . Making new friends in your 30s is very hard especially if you don’t have kids

I think that mine did too around April 2020 with the high-gear of the C-V hysteria he'd been divorced 7 years but still being dragged back into court for upping child support etc up until 2020 even, his mom was in court as a witness, best friends he had that were friends with me as well growing up, he'd been going to bars drinking and socializing before his death, he'd been on the sauce and was once quiet big for his height of 5'9," but then quiet fat toward the end. None of those people in the bars were really his "friends" it was all superficial. I never knew the real cause of his death but it surprised everyone being so young at 44.@@dr.vonslifeinvesting6485

At 51 I resonate with this. I've been divorced for over 10 years. It was really tough in the beginning. Still lingered for many years after. I got used to being alone, and learning that you don't need much at all to be happy. In fact it's difficult to make friends because you see how addicted they are to constant entertainment/stimuli.

You can still make friends at ANY age. The only reason why it is easier to make friends when you are a child or adolescent is because you are in an environment (i.e. grade school, trade school, college) where you see the same people everyday and have no choice but to be in relative close proximity to them. Certain kinds of adult jobs are also conducive to friendship building. A job where everyone takes the same scheduled breaks, and the breakroom is small and crowded is the best. Coworkers then have no choice but to sit next to each other, eat with each other, etc. Like school. Otherwise, people spread out, act aloof, etc.

I can definitely relate to this. I am 33 with no friends. Also had a group of friends in high school. Made a few new friends in college but most of us grew apart, especially being red pill and into self development. And I’ve notice most dudes are simps and aren’t good with women. Acquaintances and dating is the way to go. I have rekindled with an old friend from grade school. Always had each other’s back. Grade school friends can be a option.🤔

Hey man I really appreciate you making this video. I myself am 43 and in the same boat. I feel like a major loaner where I just don't belong or resonate with people or even family.. the brother hood I had in the military is irreplaceable and never was able to duplicate making those kind of friends in the real world even being involved with hobbies and such. It feels forced at times to socialize with people. U see wolves 🐺 run in packs but I feel like a lone wolf with no tribe. Nobody tells us as young children that when we get older we will lose friends and family. It's tuff to navigate through life knowing and accepting that some people won't be on our life's journey.

I think one of the worst things is when your immediate family lets you down so many times to the point where you cannot relate to them anymore and you basically stop making excuses for them. I've always felt different, but moreover I really do not have anything in common as far as a spiritual level with my immediate family, which consists of my two brothers and a mother because my father passed two years ago. He was the only one that I felt close to and I wasn't a daddy's girl by any means, I was not spoiled, but we connected on a spiritual and a soul level. But I really believe that is because he was born in 35'.

I made one of my best friends in my mid 30s. I’m now mid 40s, 10 years on. It can def be more difficult to make close friends after your 20s due to fewer shared intense experiences like, say high school or college. This friend and I got close through hiking/backpacking adventures together. He now lives in a different state, married with a kid, but we still keep in touch and make time to visit each other about once a year. I’m really lucky to have a friend like this guy. I’m kind of a loner and fine by myself but true friends are worth coming out of my shell for.

This was a very heartfelt message that was very informative. What was said resonated very deeply in a lot of ways. I had a cousin from moms twin sister that got hit by a train and the circumstances where possibly similar to what was hinted at. You lose people that are close and it can affect us in ways we don’t fully understand. Not having friends has that negative stigma that makes us think we should have them. But some people are better off alone. I would be completely happy as well on some land somewhere. Nature is where it’s at.

The content has only gotten better, and the realness maintains as always. Stay doing your thang LFA, you’re helping the world to be a better place, and letting the dudes know that we all have our share of problems…and we can all find our way through them. Ya don’t give up. Ya don’t wither away. Another day is another opportunity, to learn, be kind, stand up for ourself, practice humility, make alliances, smell the roses, turn a chick on, drive a classic Lincoln, enjoy a cigar…whatever. Enjoy this life how you choose while ya got it 😎

Damn I did not expect that today. 😢 I'm 46, and yeah keeping friends is tough, never had "brothers"... sounds nice... but I can't imagine having that and losing it. You seem like a really good friend to have, and you are helping. Thanks for sharing.

I love that story and how you used that tragedy to motivate you to save others from the same fate in a bad relationship . I wish I was out there in Oklahoma we would hang out for sure 👊🏽. Thanks for sharing LFA. Our challenges in life make us who we are and it is from people like you that we can navigate the darkness with your light. 💪🏾. Appreciate you brother. 🍻

Great video, sorry to hear about your friends. You make a valid point that a lot of folks don't seem to understand, which is that we can be ok and live fulfilling lives without friends. I'm going on my 18th year of being in the military and I can attest to this lifestyle. You will meet guys that will take a bullet for you (literally) and then before you know it you are all living in separate states, often times separate countries on opposite ends of the world, courtesy of Uncle Sam. Rinse and repeat every few years, give or take. My friends have come and gone and so have my relationships with women who I thought were in it for the long haul... Boy was I wrong. Despite all of this, I've just learned to be at peace doing my own thing and focusing on myself (work, gym, dog, hobbies, cooking, etc). Love who you are and make yourself a priority, always.

Although English is my 2nd tongue, I could understand more than words, the feelings. I am sorry to hear your losses and I hope your friends RIP! I cannot pass without saying that you were also describing my dilemma between being ok with loneliness and trying to keep up with old friends who never initiate the contact. Your words were encouraging to be ok with being lonely. Thank you for this sincere video!
