On an airfield in the Egyptian desert, three weeks ago, we met a young boy beginning a one thousand mile journey to save his life.
He was one of dozens of Palestinians being flown to Qatar for medical treatment.
But it was Abdullah’s need for care which was most urgent - the burned and bandaged boy's injuries so severe he was rushed off the military evacuation flight, before dozens of other wounded passengers.

This so called parent should be held responsible for every child of theirs that they did not take to safety. Every child that they left in Gaza to die for their cause. They are the only ones to be responsible. You cause of war, and then you want to blame the party you attacked, because you let your children die .? Heart rendering!!! Burns are one of the most excruciating injuries to deal with, and often survive. This little boy has seen too much, and bared a terrible loss, and injury. Not having his Father there to comfort him; bless his little soul. The fighting always affects the innocent lives. I pray he sees his Father, and both can heal.

Many adult males and often women are denied exit by the Israeli gov. Many don't have documents that could help, but they ran for their lives, buildings raised to ground in multiple attacks, so homes can be recognised, even if they were able to return to homes.

How come they can seperate this wounded sick child who even lost his mother and sister from this father... No hearts in the Egyptian border authorities... dont they have kids... Why didnt they allow his father to accompany him... This is so heartbreaking... This child needs his family "only father left😢" beside him to heal... Psychological support is as important as the physical one

Thankfully, he is not in so much pain! Thankfully he has medicine so he will not develop infections from the burns! I hope his father survives with no injuries, and I hope his other brother also survives! None of these things would have happened if ....... you know!
