At no point did Fury get “knocked down” last night. He gave Usyk a better fight than AJ did. Fury caught Usyk with multiple punches, but Usyk just sucked them all up and stayed on the front foot for the whole fight because the man has the heart of a lion. He wanted it more than Fury, and nothing was going to stop him becoming undisputed last night.

@@karlthompson1899 Fury is in decline. He really should retire. If not then fight Joshua for British pride, then hang up his gloves. Usyk is a year older but looked after his body much better than Fury has. He’s super fit and could probably stay at his peak for a few more years, but he has nothing else left to prove. He’s completed everything. There’s still incentive there for him to make more money but he doesn’t strike me as a person who cares about that. He cared about legacy first and foremost and he’s achieved that now, as well as being super rich.

3:10 remember, kids, if you see a grown man does things like spit plastic wrapping on the ground outside the boundaries of his own home, you should make yourself a mental note about the decency of said man. And foreseeing some of the comments - yes, yes, it indeed is that deep. "Small" things like that are always signs of the overall character. And the fact that he did it on camera is a sign of severity of how foul he is. Unless, of course, there was a bin or something like that where he spit it, but it's not likely, it seems.

I was supporting Fury, and I scored it 114-113 in favour for Usyk. I had AJ losing to Usyk by 4 in the first fight and by 2 in the second fight, so I think AJ vs Fury is still a very appealing contest..............but Tyson vs Usyk 2 first please.

Yeh I had Tyson winning some of the middle rounds, but Usyk the first rounds and latter rounds. At best, (and being generous) Fury got 5 rounds over whole fight.

If they still 15 rounds this era and fought a bit more often theyd be valling this the golden age and Usyk the greatest of all time. I feel sorry for Usyk because he deserves ten times more recognition than he gets

Why fury kept on back foot and didn’t put pressure on usyk baffles me. Clearly he didn’t deserve to win with that bombshell of a performance. Fair play to usyk what a fighter and an even greater champion.
@Maroon498
@Maroon498 23 күн бұрын
Because he’s slowing down with age, he wanted to reserve his energy for the later rounds but gassed out anyway. If he walked Usyk down, that plays into Usyk’s hands. Fury would tire quicker and get stopped. This is why the rematch is pointless. Usyk would beat him again.

First six rounds I had: 10-9 Usyk 10-9 Usyk 10-10 10-9 Fury 10-9 Fury 10-9 Fury But overall 115-112 to Usyk. I don’t get the people saying the ref saved Fury; the ropes kept him up: knockdown.
@oochiewallys
@oochiewallys 23 күн бұрын
Go back to Fury Wilder 3 then, when Wilder is out and being held up by the corner and ropes, ref lets Tyson knock him clean out, he doesn’t step in and give Deontay a standing 8. We need consistency, they shouldn’t be giving Tyson graces they wouldn’t give other fighters because “he’s durable” and recovers well.

Epic fight at the weekend. Watched it 4 times and will watch it a few more times this week. Really hope Fury wants the rematch as that was him at his best until round 7! Think he needs to stay in shape, be busier then he will beat Usyk then hopefully AJ then he can retire in the knowledge he was the best of his era

Great fight, i had it Usyk winning by 2 rounds. Think Fury had a chance to step on it in the 5/6 rounds to take control but let Usyk back in and that then was the turning point. Id still love to see Fury AJ. Think every english boxing fan would love to see that still. Hope it happens 👍

Of course Fury will want a rematch. But I don't think it will happen in October. That's too soon. I would think that Fury in particular would need at least a couple of months to recover from his injuries before he gets back in the gym. I'd bet the next fight won't occur until early in 2025.

I am a true Brit and I could not be happier as the best man won and Fury exposed as a fraud for all to see 6" height 7" reach and nearly 3 stone weight advantage being bullied by the older but much better Usyk. I would say Fury's biggest mistake was only paying off the ref and 1 judge.

"Disappointment for the Brits"? Lots of British people across pubs in Britain were cheering on Usyk. Lots! Fury pissed away all the goodwill he had from much of the British public with his boorish behaviour, and his father's thuggery certainly did not help matters. Conversely, Usyk's constantly classy behaviour and dignity made it easy to support him.
