The problem was not that she was picky. It was that she did not know what she wanted, yet completely hated most of the dresses they brought in. It made no sense. Then she suddenly said she wanted a high neck and cap sleeves. Maybe she should've mentioned that before...

Alexis Chand OMG! I bought the first dress I tried on because it fit and I liked it. I bought it on my lunch hour from work with two co-workers with me. I was lazy and didn't want any drama. I had no bridesmaids because I didn't want the drama of that, and no bridal shower because I didn't want to deal with organizing the whole thing. But that was 1980 and I'm still married so at least I picked the groom right, lol. If I were getting married now I would do things totally different.

Jemma J she might not have, I think she realised that she wanted those things covered because she wasn’t comfortable in the dress that showed them and she realised when she tried it on- but she didn’t mention it earlier because she had no idea about what kind of dress she wanted and also hadn’t thought about it enough to have realised what she wouldn’t be comfortable with

It shouldn't be annoying it's apart of the job. Not every client will know what they want. Customer service brings in all kinds of people & you should be happy to accommodate them. As long as they aren't rude or arrogant I dont see a problem.

That's mean. Come on it's the 1st time a bride will try on her dress ofcourse they don't know what they want. The brides that you are referring to have already been wedding shopping and know what they want and dislike. The other time some brides pick from photos and magazines but end up buying something else. Also when they say they don't know they are keeping an open mind and as they see dresses they get a better idea as what they want as you saw this bride tried on a dress and knew she hated sweetheart neckline. It may be horrible for the consultants but wedding dresses are expensive the bride can be picky

@@pinkheart315 yeah but I think brides should preshop and then start with trying on like 5 generic dresses to compare how each type of dresses look good on them like try a sweetheart neck, a mermaid, a puffy etc, to get an idea and then come back after you thought about it. With my sister we did that, she tried a few dresses I took pictures with my phone and she looked at all of them and compared how she liked them. this bride seem to have not done any scouting, that's why she's confused

Classy bling or elegant simplicity cost more because materials & workmanship need to be better. Some low-end dresses ladle on excessive bling to cover for being cheap. I would not be caught dead in that £500 monstrosity. They probably keep it around to soften up brides for higher price tags.

I think she was having trouble expressing herself. She wasn’t trying to withhold her wants and preferences.

Well they essentially create a dress from scratch unless they need to rush it and have to take a sample dress.

The family didn't share their opinions either (I don't think mum liked it). I think they all knew that she actually had a specific idea in mind and would not do well trying on different dresses. She's not an open-minded person. I'm not sure she's mature enough to be able to decide on marriage. I hope it works out for her
