Shane Folan According to some of the people who knew her back then, she was given coke at a young age (young as in 15/16) by fairly prominent people within the industry. There's a whole can of worms to be opened there

yes, that was the original Peggy as played by Jo Warne, she was only in it for a few episodes. By late 1994, Barbara Windsor took over the role to help improve ratings. Jo Warne later went on to play Julie Corrigan’s mum in Grange Hill.
