I do not believe in "generational curses", because God did away with that through the resurrection of The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The "curses" are family secrets, lies and issues that our aunts and uncles had while they were growing up. So, this is what is passed on. How to lie, how to manipulate, thinking we as a child did something wrong. Family really makes members choose sides.

I think another person mentioned that this happened with family and that is exactly where it hits home for me. Signs of people pleasing 1. You put other people wants before your needs. 2. Conflict Avoidance. 3. You fell guilty doing something for you. 4. Struggle with saying NO 5. Compromising boundaries if offends others 6. You shifty change your plans to accommodate others.

When you are truly anointed, you don’t have to yell, stomp, or lay hands to work deliverance. You can simply teach the word God gives you and let the word do its work. God set me free when I received this word last night. I bless God for Pastor Flower’s obedience. May God continue to bless and protect this man of God and his family.

Thank you for therapy Thursdays. I never thought I needed therapy. I was too proud and only thought about things according to the way I was raised. What mama and Daddy said was golden.I never thought or even heard the word, UNLEARN. God is healing my marriage and me as a person with this therapy, it's Always talking to me. I'm miles away from Texas, but I truly appreciate this room being a few clicks away. My 22 yo daughter introduced me to this therapy and I'm so glad she did. Won't HE do it!!!!

People pleasing is fear playing dress up...PREACH! as a recovering people pleaser this is so true. fear is the root cause...fear of a bad reputation, they wont like/respect/stay with me. Fear of abandonment, not keeping up with the pack...Finding my true identity in Christ was the most liberating gift. The peace is really the most valuable treasure 💜💜💜

I just started a new job and I was feeling so out of place and couldn’t understand what was happening. I was battling a lot of anxiety about every move I made. Truth is I seek validation while simultaneously thinking I’m not good enough for anyone’s. I’ve been literally looking for scriptures to combat the thoughts and see myself how God sees me and the war that’s been happening in my mind!!!! Wow thanks for this

This one reminds me of listening to my dearest and late friend, Johnny. Listening to the work he had done in himself and perservering in his work was beautiful. Something my cousin told me that stuck with me is to teach yourself is to learn, and I am blessed to have witnessed Johnny teaching himself in our friendship. He listened to me connect dots, too. I am still praying for Johnny today. Humility is the effort we reciprocate in our friendship. Thank you for delivering this message. I come back to it when I remember the gift of vulnerability in our friendship we shared. We were not afraid to learn from each other.
