My favourite German cities that are worth the visit: - Without a doubt number one: Heidelberg. Not bombed in ww2 and a vibrant and cool student city. - Other cities that were only slightly bombed are Bamberg, Regensburg and Tübbingen. All just fairytail cities and all are student cities as well; that always adds liveliness in my opinion. - leipzig. It’s also known as the mini Berlin. Because Berlin becomes to expensive a lot of people go for leipzig. All the trending stuff that happens in Berlin goes more and more to Leipzig, because it is simply more affordable. - Dresden. Absolutely beautiful how they restored the old palaces after ww2. - Lübeck and Schwerin. Both beautiful cities at the sea. Hanseatic cities just have something. - Hamburg. A raw, big and beautiful city. For me it is the best big city in Germany. With the harbour as its crown juwel. North rein Westphalia can be raw and harsh. But the football culture in this region is something else. People live and die for their club. Especially in the Ruhrgebiet Honourable mentions are Freiburg, Bremen, Potsdam, Nürnberg and Göttingen. Of course Berlin is one of the most unique cities in the world. But I don’t think that needs explanation

When you started the video I was like: “Well, he’s obviously gonna trace the map off of something” and I was flabbergasted when you just started drawing by probably comparing it to another map. That’s such an amazing skill! You probably stole a bit of Saxony’s space and turned that into Czech Republic, I think, and therefore kind of squeezed eastern Germany into what was left.😂 But I’m not here to be annoying. I think, it’s really brave to even attempt to draw a map by sight.

It would have been pretty cool if you added the capital cities/largest cities in each region too. Its something I want to memorize and having it in asmr form makes that easier :)

It’s weird, I was born in Berlin when my father was stationed there on the 1970’s and although I have no familial or ancestral ties to Germany, I have always felt a kinship with it. I hope to be able to visit one day.
